I had been having a hard time sleeping because if I spent too much time in bed I would wake up achy and sore. First I bought the queen size purple and within a week I Knew I needed the purple platform. I have not slept this well in years... I also love my purple seat cushion! Which hilariously I didn't think would make that much of a difference.... but it does and I don't share it with anyone ! I plan on buying more purple products in the future!!!

I can't say anything about the bed itself yet because I haven't been able to get it into my bedroom or set it up. Before purchasing, please be aware that this bed weighs over 300 pounds total, including the Powerbase if you invest in it. Purple only ships via FedEx and Old Dominion, and they only take it to your door (at their discretion) and do not set it up. So you need to either find weight-lifting friends, or hire someone to help you bring it in and set it up. Unfortunately I may have to do the latter and I have no idea whether the bed will break in the process. I hope the bed is as nice as the reviews say.... but it may be a while before I can actually sleep on it.

There is nothing wrong with the service Purple provided, but after my wife was not getting the comfort she expected and a cost/benefit analysis, for me, has led us to return our mattresses. I have been sleeping on the Purple mattress for about a month now. Compared to another brand we had before, the purple is WAY better and we are no longer waking up stiff and sore! Love the purple grid inside and how it feels closer to a traditional mattress as opposed to just foam.

My journey began with back and neck pain every morning. It was getting so bad it was hard to stand in the morning. I finally said enough is enough! But where do you start with so many options out there?! I mean it is seriously ridiculous! My mom brought the Purple mattress to my attention after seeing a commercial. It was one I had not checked into yet. When I went online to learn about it the commercials made me laugh...but so did the price. I continued to look at all the options and was getting frustrated. My husband was the one who urged me to really look into the Purple mattress. I read reviews, watched all the Purple videos they provide, but the youtube reviews sold me and helped me decide the Purple 3 was the one for us. Check out the reviews...you can also find reviews that compare them with other mattresses. I found it very helpful. So we took the plunge and ordered the Purple 3, the mattress protector, the platform base and received a free pillow. The pillow arrived first....let's just say it is 10.5 pounds! The first night it made my arm fall asleep because it is so heavy. But I adjusted my arm style (no longer under the pillow) and I have not looked back. Within a week my neck pain was gone! and has been for three weeks now! I am never going back to another pillow ever! It will just be odd to travel with a 10.5 pound pillow. I was getting very excited because the next week the mattress was coming. But also sick to my stomach...what if I hated the mattress?! The 100 day trial put me a little at ease. Finally the very heavy bed came, the delivery guys said it was very heavy and you could tell they struggled a little. But once it was in the room we had no problems! My first touch of the Purple mattress was interesting, because I could feel the purple matrix. After that first touch I never noticed it again. I am a back and side sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper and we find the Purple 3 to be perfect! Two weeks later and I have no back pain. I am also so well rested that I have not had caffeine in over a week! Never thought that would happen. I sleep soundly and so does my husband since I am not tossing and turning or waking up from over heating. This is a dream! The only down side is that I love this bed so much I don't want to get out of it and I find myself wanting to go to bed earlier and earlier. I know it has only been two weeks...but if I am already pain free I can't see it changing. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thanks Purple!

After looking at numerous different types of mattress, I decided to buy the purple mattress and I am so happy I did!! This mattress is amazing. My fiancé moves around a lot while he sleeps and now that we have the purple mattress I don't feel him moving around nearly as much. I would absolutely recommend this mattress!!

So far so good. But it does occasionally sleep hot. I used to have a heated water bed and a hot mattress was never an issue. Had to get a new bed due to water leakage and went with a sleep number. Which was nothing but HOT. Foam just retained my body heat. And I run cold so it was odd that after 5 minutes in bed I had to move to a different place on the bed and kick the covers off. It's only been 3 weeks and I'm going to keep testing the Purple.

After reading MANY reviews, we really had our hopes up. And WE WEREN'T DISAPPOINTED! Thanks, Purple, for helping my husband's back. After 1 night, he felt better. Could get out of bed more easily. Could stand up nearly straight right away. And it has only gotten better. I didn't have the problems he had, but my sleep has improved, too. Have to say, the pillows are weird, but they're helping. Also, DON'T LIKE THE TOP SHEET. Stretchy bottom sheet is nice, but we ditched the stretchy sheet after 3 nights. Kept getting tangled up in it because it won't slide across you when you move. Ended up using old cotton-polyester blend top sheet, and that was much better. Some day I may try to make a bottom fitted sheet out of that flat top sheet. Wish I could buy just a fitted sheet.

I have been dealing with terrible back pain for months. I finally said NO MORE!!! I decided to invest in a better mattress. No lie, I noticed an improvement in my sleep the very first night I slept on my new mattress. I actually have been feeling more rested in the morning and no more back pain when I get out of bed. Anyone considering buying a purple mattress, don't think about it, just go ahead and make the purchase you will not regret it!!!
