My husband and I have gone though 2 beds in the last couple of years. One of them was a Tempurpedic that developed body trenches within months of owning it. The Purple def lives up to its claims of support where you need it most. After owning the purple for about 3 months, my hip stopped hurting and I'm waking up feeling more well rested then ever. Now I'm just waiting for those Purple pillows to launch! They've def found a fan for life!

I have the Purple 4 and have been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks now. It is so awesome! When you first lay on it, it is so soft that you expect to sink in, but you don't. You are supported and lay on top of a whole lot of soft awesomeness! I had a well known brand of memory foam queen-sized bed before which was very hard despite the sinking in feeling, and I was just really tired of it! We upgraded to this Purple 4 King Sized mattress. I also own the purple pillow and it is also awesome! My husband loves the bed and was so glad that I talked him into purchasing the mattress. We received free sheets and 2 free pillows which are also awesome. We purchased the Purple mattress protector and hope that the bed lasts the full warranty period and MORE!

It's an ok bed, but not worth the money spent. If you have it on a platform that's not totally solid, you will feel the bars and/or panels beneath the matress which leads to uncomfortable mornings. I'm in the process of returning it, but the options they're giving me for my refund all break down to me donating the matress and submitting the donation receipt for their review before I get my money back. This is not an "easy return" as far as I'm concerned.

We were contemplating buying a purple mattress prior to my back injury. After my injury happened and was not able to sleep comfortably in our old bed we purchased the original purple mattress. It came quickly and my husband had a friend help set it up. I slept better on it than our old mattress. But them I was able to stop my pain pills and started to realize the mattress was a bit too firm. We decided to just add our old 3" foam mattress topper we previously had and that made a big difference!! Perhaps we should have gotten the hybrid purple 2 or 3, but we are happy with it overall. Definitely love it with the purple pillows too!!

Purple lived up to their word and product. After having my Purple for about three years a problem started to show up. When I called their support team was famtastic. In about 7 days I was unpacking a new version, with real improvements, and have been sleeping on it for about 2 months now. Great bed from a company with great service.

Wanted to up-grade our bed size from a full to a king. Had a wonderful full size pillow top mattress that I just loved, so I was a little scared because I loved my mattress & so did the hubby, just needed something bigger (we have 2 small dogs) that sleep with us. After much research, I decided to try Purple. I am HAPPY to say that it is just as comfortable as my other bed. I would not say better, but I would say just as good...and its a King, just what we were wanting! So now we all fit & are comfortable. Was a really great purchase for us!

How was my overall experience? Well quit frankly I don't know if I should thank Purple or despise them. On one hand they have the most amazing bed I have ever slept on. I no longer wake up in pain after sleeping, I don't wake up in a pool of sweat, I don't make my wife drift towards me after sinking into a hole in the middle of the night (used to sleep on memory foam), my chiropractor is losing money..... and so on... basically this is the best thing ever. On the other hand Purple has single handedly ruined my love of travel. Why? Because when traveling I cant bring my purple with me and every other bed is terrible. Best money I have ever spent, hands down. I have a Purple 4.0 with the bed frame and I love it.

The level of support and comfort blew my expectations out of the water.. and I had high hopes for what this mattress could do. I've had chronic back troubles for over a decade. One month of sleeping on this mattress and so far I've had no back pain at all. I can confidently say this is more supportive and comfortable when I'm face down or on my back. But it is still far beyond the many other mattresses that I have tried for my preferred side sleeping.

I have 2 homes (in FL and NY). I bought my first Purple mattress about 6 months ago after back surgery to replace a very old regular innerspring mattress. The back surgery was successful and I probably didn't need the mattress for my back after all. But as a side sleeper, I discovered that my hips had been very sore (somehow I thought that was normal?!?) and after changing to Purple the pressure pains that kept me tossing and turning and waking up with hip soreness were gone. So I bought a second Purple for my other house, replacing an only 3 year old memory foam mattress that I thought I liked. And again, no more hip pain. Plus, I think I sleep more soundly because the turning in my sleep is reduced.

The Purple mattress is wonderful to sleep on. So supportive all over. I used to wake up with my lower back aching, and I'd have to immediately get up and out of bed because it hurt to lay down any longer. After sleeping on the Purple mattress, I am no longer in pain when I wake up, and I don't have to get out of bed immediately. We love our Purple mattress!
