So far so good, time will tell. My back was hurting using my old mattress. After about two weeks of sleeping on the Purple mattress the back pain I had been waking up with every day was gone. I'm not a fan of the sheets that were sent with the mattress. They weigh a thousand pounds and cannot be reasonably folded. I think the mattress is worth a try; avoid the sheets.

I have had my share of experiences with mattresses ranging from those in high-end hotels to my personal mattresses. Of the latter, my last two were waterbed mattresses. The first was the full bladder type. After several years of use, growing discomfort and back pain, I changed to a waveless waterbed mattress. I never could get the mattress to the right firmness without ridges and valleys in the mattress and, consequently, the discomfort and back pains continued. Upon remodeling the bedroom, I decided to trash the waterbed mattress finally and began a search for a comfortable and decent mattress. I read reviews of others, looked for places to try mattresses out and struggle with how to address my wife's needs for firmness while meeting mine. One day my daughter-in-law suggested that I should look into the Purple mattress and mentioned something about an egg test. As I watched the videos, I could believe it was possible. However, the Purple mattress seemed to be the best possible solution. I must admit that being a geek in the sciences, mathematics, engineering and computer science had some influence, too. Our mattress arrived tightly packaged in a roll to which I couldn't believe this was a California King mattress. Amazingly, it expanded to fit the bed frame perfectly! It actually fits the frame far better than either of the waterbed mattresses. The first test of pressing on the mattress from the top was intriguing and surprising, but the sleep test was heavenly impressive! For the first time in a very long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night without needing moments of adjustments---this was just the first night. After several nights of the most comfortable sleep I have had in years, here is what I have found: 1. I sleep through the night as I mentioned earlier. 2. Back pains and leg pains are gone. 3. I don't wake with my limbs numb due to lying on them during my sleep. 4. Coupled with number 3 above, I can sleep through the night, awake fully rested all the while holding my wife all through the night---my arms aren't numb in the morning nor do I feel the need to adjust during the night. 5. My wife is quite comfortable with the mattress---one mattress to fit both needs. 6. It seems that there is less movement during our sleep as I often awake in the same position and place as I started---most likely due to less need for adjustments to be comfortable. These are the highlights. Overall, we awake fully rested without feeling groggy or unmotivated. I have come to love this mattress such that I am considering purchasing one for each of my children and their families. Oh, and by the way, we were tickled to find purple night masks with the mattress. Though we don't use them, it was a nice touch. Truthfully, we use the samples that came with the mattress, too, more to show others how our mattress the construction of the mattress.

The mattress definitely sleeps well. I have a lot of hip pain at night usually. I notice a big difference on this mattress. I still have some slight discomfort at times, but HUGE improvement over my old mattress. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the mattress does slide quite a bit on the frame. Otherwise excellent mattress.

I was a little worried since this was my first time ordering something like a mattress online. I was also worried about setting it up by myself since I live alone. It was actually easier than I thought to set up. I saw a YouTube video showing how to set it up which made it easy. I have slept on my new Purple for several weeks and I love love love it. I have back problems and this mattress has lessened my back pain when I wake up in the morning. I am VERY glad that I chose Purple

My previous mattress was over 25 years old. I bought a Purple mattress about three weeks ago, and I will probably sleep on in for another 25 years. It's the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning without back and neck pain finally.

My partner and I recently moved across the country and left everything behind, we were sleeping on an air mattress until this gift from above arrived, I recommend going all out and buying the mattress pillows and sheets because you will sleep cool refreshed and comfortable, best purchase ever

I did a ton of research before buying my first Purple mattress about three years ago, and it is hands down the best mattress I've ever slept on, and I've slept on all the top mattresses. It's better than any mattress in any five-star hotel I've stayed at, and I really miss it when I travel. I've since bought four more Purple mattresses for every bed in the house. I literally thank my mattress every time I get in bed. Truly the BEST!

I was suffering back pain from my spring mattress that isn't even 10 years old, I've seen purple keep popping up on my Facebook ad and I thought I could give it a try and if I don't like it I could return it, my husband was skeptical when I told him it's made of food grade plastic grid. Now that we've been sleeping on it for awhile he doesn't give me grief about the mattress, and I'm back pain free! I sleep on all positions, start by lying side way, then on my back, sometimes on my belly. I can't say that it keeps me sleeping through the whole night (I've always wake up through out the night since when I was younger) But I can say that I'm now pai free!

My wife and I had been struggling to get a good night's sleep for years, we always woke up with minor bank aches and pains. We studied many brands and read reviews. We currently had a Simmons Beauty Rest, and it was not a good fit for our sleep. I had read about Purple and it caught my attention mainly because of how unique it was. I wasn't sold on buying a mattress I could not see in person or lay on, even though they do give a 100 day trial. When I heard they were offering them at Furniture Row stores in 2019, I had to stop in and see them for myself. My wife and I purchased a Purple 4, only 30 minutes after laying on one. We have been sleeping on this bed for 8 months now and I cannot tell you how much it has improved our sleep! We are dreaming again, waking up pain free and feel much more rested throughout the day! We could not have made a better decision in this Purple bed. The technology is what caught me attention, and we are still so happy we made this investment.

I originally bought a memory foam matress then went into a mattress firm to try it out. That's when I tried a purple mattress too. My 18 year old loved it so I bought him and my other teenager one. That arrived within a week I'd say. Super easy to set up. Although omg they're heavy I couldn't help carry then upstairs. Over all we are so happy with the purchase I'm buying one more.
