I think the bed is great. Firmness is perfect. Stays cool. The support frame is nice because its firmness is equal across the whole bed. No hump in the middle like most king size mattress styles. I'm 6-3 and 225lb. My wife thinks it's to firm. Not sure why it's to firm for her. She is 5-7 135lb. Is the weight a factor for comfort level.

Did a lot of homework on all of the internet matress companies out there and chose Purple because of the massive amount of great reviews and also the talk of firmness in the reviews. The matress doesn't sink at all. Very firm - but because of the gel on top still has softness, spring and full support. I've been sleeping like a champ ever since getting this thing. It's not hype - this is the best matress I've ever had. Get one!

My wife and I don't know how we will ever be able to live and sleep without a Purple mattress. Seriosly we are customers for life. Best mattress we have ever owned. I honestly hate the mattress. It feels like I'm sleeping on a large box with a 2 inch cushion on top. It definitely needs at least 4 inches of cushion on it. I'm going to try and put my old 2 inch mattress topper on it, to see if that helps. If not, I'm definitely returning and trying a DreamCloud.

My fiancé and I decided to get a new mattress as a fresh start into our married life, and we are extremely happy with this mattress! We've had our original purple mattress just over a month now. So far, it has been great! It did take getting used to, but we sleep so much better now -- deeper, less waking up -- and in the morning we don't feel achy and sore. Our old mattress was pretty old so we were sleeping in a "hole". Interestingly, we had measured our height a few months prior and noticed we were 'shrinking" and thought it was due to age. We happened to re-measure again a week or so after getting our purple mattress. I actually regained 3/8 inch and my husband 4/8 inch in height. We've measured since then and it's stayed that way. So the mattress has actually helped decompress and lengthen our spines while we sleep! I definitely recommend ordering it and trying it. It's worth it!

I saw the Purple mattress in a Facebook ad. My wife and I were talking about getting a new mattress but I wasn't looking forward to dealing with the salesmen, or paying thousands for something I know we needed. After watching the hilarious video I decided to take a risk (although, the money back guarantee helped a ton in my peace of mind). I haven't looked back. The mattress is amazing and my back pain is completely gone. The only weirdness about this mattress is the somewhat fruity smell that filled our bedroom, but it did go away after about 3 weeks.
