My husband and I have owned our purple for 2 years now. For the first year we enjoyed it and the. As the next years has gone by my husband and I both have been experiencing more back and shoulder pain than before we bought it. Constant visits to our chiropractor only to go to bed and wake up hurting. Of course we are way past the 100 nights but for what we paid, it's not worth it. At this point we are unsure how long we will keep it and have to spend even more for something better that won't break down as fast. Sad.

This was a big deal purchase for us. Married for 12 years, second mattress purchased together. And we opted to up-size! Best. Decision. Ever. I love our giant bed!! I will admit, this took a little getting used to coming from a sagging spring mattress. I was a little scared as we have slept in one of those Swedish memory foam mattresses at a friend's house. I felt like I was sleeping in sand and couldn't get out. The Purple mattress doesn't do that! It has some bounce! The best review I can give of this is that after sleeping on our Purple mattress for about 3 weeks, I had to go out of town. The very first night in the hotel, I woke up to neck pain, a numb arm, and lower back aches. I actually started to laugh when I woke up because I had FORGOTTEN WHAT THAT FELT LIKE. Seriously.

My advice is you have to give it a few days. Because it's going to be exactly what you need for your back. I love it. Sleep on it every night. Best mattress ever. And the sheets are SO soft. I love them they are the softest sheets I've ever had. Very very good quality.

We got the queen and are enjoying it very much. Super comfortable to sleep on your back but my shoulder hurts in the morning if I sleep on my side. There was a claim somewhere that they'd take our old one away. Nope! In fact, poor UPS guy wasn't too happy with lugging that thing to our door! Hahahah it's HEAVY! The bed is quiet like the claim but the box had a hole in one of the corners and some of the little pieces for connecting the headboard were missing because the little package they came in was also partially opened. Super comfy mattress. We are sleeping better than we did before.

Honestly it took a little while to get used to sleeping on the mattress, I still have mornings where i wake up with lower back pain and have trouble getting comfortable to fall asleep. I do not plan on returning the mattress and hope to keep it for many years to come.

Both my husband and I have had back surgery. I have a nerve stimulator in my back and my husband just had his 3rd back surgery. Plus I have had neck surgery. I have to say I though the surgeries failed because I was still in pain every night. Move one way and my back and hips felt good but my neck hurt. Move another way and my neck felt good and my back and hips hurt. We have both been sleeping wonderfully since we got the Purple. My only complaint would be that there should be more padding on top you can feel the inside of the mattress even by taking your hand over it. However, you can not feel it on your body when you sleep. Most comfortable mattress I have ever had. Thank you Purple

I absolutely LOVE this bed!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality sleep. I was a chronic insomniac for over decade, but now my sleep problems have disappeared. I used to toss and turn all night because I couldn't get comfortable. I would get so hot, I would wake up drenched in sweat. I was told I was at risk for developing carpal tunnel syndrome because I was cutting off my circulation in my sleep. I had constant backaches, especially when waking up. Purple has changed all of that! I could tell after the very first night that I had slept much more deeply than I ever had before. I did wake up sore for about a month after getting it, but it was because my body was adjusting to the new bed. My spine was straightening out during the night, since this bed provides such wonderful support compared to other beds. I know for a fact because I've become an inch taller in the past year. My health has significantly improved because of better circulation and sleep quality. I used to struggle to get out of bed in the morning, and now I pop right up, happy to start each day! ~If you are sore at first, give it time. Your body is healing from the damage from your old mattress. Your spine is realigning, and that can cause soreness. I've had this bed for a year now, and my whole life has improved, starting with my health.

I'm a back sleeper and prefer firm mattresses but hate the pressure points. Good support, no pressure points! Partner is side sleeper and loves it. House sitter used it for a few days & said she sleeps on side but can't take the strain and must move several times in night - but she could stay in one position on the Purple mattress all night! We love and recommend Purple! Note: It took one day for me to get used to newness of "texture", but was hooked by 2nd night.

At first I was scared that I wasn't going to like it. Hearing how you can feel the grid and how it was hard to move in. How ever I don't find it hard to move in and it's the most comfy bed I've own. My only problem is the height of the mattress frame is a little bit tall makes it feel a 6ft tall or higher should buy one

I bought the standard purple mattress on the recommendation of my sister, and I have had nothing but sore backs waking up since I got it. I'm a side sleeper, with most of my mass concentrated in my middle, which means I usually compress the mattress to half it's normal thickness under my middle, while my head and shoulders, and my legs, are being supported by 3/4s the thickness of the mattress. I don't know if this is because I'm unusually shaped, or because the mattress wasn't meant for someone of my girth, but either way, I wind up being bent sideways between hips and shoulders every night, and consequently wake with a sore back. The soreness doesn't last more than a half to a full hour, but having to adjust my sleep schedule to wake up earlier, to give myself time to stretch back into a normal posture, is -NOT- a good thing.
