First, the website works perfectly. Sales pitch is entertaining and accurate. Customer service was flawless. my mattress was delivered early despite the fact that FED-EX had to go around 2 wild fires in California. I sleep on side stomach and back, however, when I start out as usual on my back, I fall asleep quickly as the mattress both envelopes and supports my body; I wake up 5-6 hours later perfectly relaxed and well rested. This is the best mattress I have ever owned, bar none! Also my wife snores far less now.

several years ago I injured my back, ever since it has been hard to get a really good night sleep and this last year has been awful, tossing and turning, waking every hour bc of the pain, it had gotten to a point where I had trouble getting out of the bed and then when I did I couldn't stand up strait until I did all my stretches... It has been a nightmare I was willing to try anything when we found purple. I was kind of scared bc reading all the reviews it seems to be hit or miss, but we tried any way. The first night I don't remember! We set everything up went to bed, and I woke up the next morning, I was in shock! I couldn't remember what that was like. I fell asleep fast, stayed asleep, was comfortable and woke up feeling so much better like worlds better. Now I know I am raving a bit I'm just so excited. It is not a miracle cure or anything I do still have back pain in the morning which will probably never go away, but after only a few weeks of having this bed my husband and I are both sleeping so much better. And bonus, I don't feel anything when my husband comes to bed! He has always been like a lumbering ox causing a giant earth quake getting into bed. He hasn't woken me up once. So it is a hit with us and we love it! The only 2 things that annoyed us a little bit was how long it took to get here, and the mattress showed up a week before the frame so we had to wait to set everything up. But the help line was good about answering our questions and it was worth the wait. The second thing is they introduced the adjustable bed frame after we ordered and we would have really liked to try that out as well but that item is very expensive for our budget, prob not much we can do about that though. I bought the original purple mattress because it was within my budget. Despite not being as fancy as the newer purple mattresses, it's still the best mattress i've ever owned. Would definitely recommend to back sleepers and stomach sleepers especially! The original mattress also delivers pretty fast and set up was really easy.

I struggle with sever neck and back problems, yoga and pain killers some of the only things that help my back feel better, but now I've added this mattress to the list! It's helped reduce my back pain drastically, and it makes me tail bone feel amazing. Thank you Purple

This is an amazing bed. I can sleep on my side even when my bursitis flares up. The bed doesn't put pressure on my shoulders when I lay on my side or my upper back when I lay on my back. It sleeps comfortably cool. I could go on and on. It's just awesome I also got a purple pillow. It is too thin for me to lay on my side. After much trial and error, l discovered that if I fold a towel and put it underneath I can comfortably sleep on my back and my side. Now I love this pillow. It's just as amazing as the bed. The only downside is how thin it is.

My Wife and I have been waking sore for the last year or so from our former Pillow Top Bed. We have had our Purple Mattress for just over 3 weeks and we love it. My wife doesn't feel me roll over or get out of bed early in the morning to go to the gym (which was a huge problem). We also get a better night sleep and do not wake up sore anymore. Let's start this off with saying that although we waited one month for our mattress, two months for the frame, and the mattress protector is coming this week...once we set up the frame and put the King size Purple mattress upon it, it's been awesome! No more hurting when I get out of bed, no sore muscles from lying on a crappy spring mattress. You cannot go wrong getting this mattress. And although it took some time to get the products, it's been well worth the wait. Purple responded when I asked them about my order status, and it's the best money I have ever spent on a mattress. Never again will we own anything other than a Purple mattress!

I like super soft and my boyfriend likes firm. He loves purple. I'm still getting used to it. Takes me forever to fall asleep, but once I'm asleep I stay asleep. I don't wake up at 3 because I'm too warm. Even if I'm sore when I go to bed, I don't wake up sore. Before purple I've always slept on my side... I can't on purple. I don't feel like I actually weigh enough for the bed, but it's a good bed and if it lasts for 5 years I'll be very pleased

The shipping/setup process was a bit clunky. I wish I could have setup on my own, I feel like I could have done it faster. One of the metal pieces for the platform was bent but we made it work. The mattress: I love it! It's exactly what I hoped for. It does take a few days to get used to the grid feeling underneath you but if you can overcome that you're in the money. The grid is very.. Bouncy is the only word I can think of. But the motion doesn't transfer to your partner. Once you've settled into position it feels almost like you're floating. I'm a side sleeper and usually wake up with hip and shoulder pain, not anymore! Also, it sleeps incredibly cool. I used to wake up in puddles of sweat with my foam mattress, now I can wear cute PJs and be so comfy all night. If you're fed up with other mattresses on the market and feel like being adventurous, I highly recommend!

When I moved into my new apartment I went with a pillow top from a mattress clearance store at a comparable price. Big mistake. I had already been having some stiffness and occasional back pain on the mattress I had been sleeping on four previous years. As a large man (then 300lbs now 350lbs) mattresses tend to sink in some after time which negates any support/alignment. I was hoping to get three years out of my new mattress, however, I only got about 3 months out of it before I started experiencing daily back pain upon waking. It got so bad it started waking me up in the middle of my sleep. I could barely get out of bed most mornings. I was skeptical about buying a "bed-in-a-box" and from what I could tell after days of research didn't think they could hold up to my weight. Eventually it got so bad that I couldn't continue with the same mattress anymore. I looked at a few options and purple caught my eye again. I was hesitant because of a few reviews I had read previously about long delivery times and a lingering smell. Then I read a well written review by a fellow military veteran that just resonated with me. He carried weight also and could not seem to find a solution to morning back pain. Purple worked for him. I was desperate enough that I ordered my mattress right away. It actually arrived before the scheduled date and I got a free set of sheets to boot (surprisingly these are the best bed sheets I have ever had - don't wrinkle - stay taut and tucked!). There was no lingering smell from the mattress (I washed the sheets before putting them on the bed). I could tell that there was a difference fairly quickly. It only took a few nights for the stiffness to reside. One month later, I now wake up pain free. The mattress compressed a little bit under my weight (which I expected), but the nature of the top layer keeps me from actually sinking in and does exactly what it claims. It would be silly for me to say that this bed is the solution to your back pain because everyone is different. At my weight I have to be careful not to "plop" down because I can hit the supporting frame (a wooden platform type to keep the bed low to the ground). But when I lay down at night I no longer dread waking up and barely being able to stand let alone roll over to get out of bed. The technology behind the top layer is awesome. They send you a little sample that you can press on. When you put your finger down the only part that compresses or moves is directly under your finger. Thank you to the makers who thought to incorporate this into a mattress. I am forever grateful for my Purple mattress. Now for another peaceful nights sleep :)
