Amazing new design, especially how you charge it. No longer a bunch of pieces, just lay on the side of table to charge

Make sure your Apple Pencil stays charged if it is dead to long it ruins the battery. This is my third one :,( but they are great

Everyone keeps saying that they've brought a brand new iPad but the pencil isn't compatible. Sounds to me like these people don't like to read or either they don't have the right generation iPAD that would be compatible with the pencil (2nd generation). It worked wonders for me! I love it.

This is one of those: If I could give it zero stars I would. SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy something compatible, off brand, with good reviews. This Apple Pencil 2 is expensive junk. The only reason I could think of that someone would need this is if you are a professional or your ego needs the name brand (I was the latter). Bought this in August 2024 for my ipad air. Worked fine. January it fell off of the ipad and I didn't notice for a couple days. Tried to get it working again, but nope. I did suggestions on YouTube, nothing. I tried to take it to get repaired, the repair guy said no, wasn't worth it, that I needed to take it to an Apple store. Well, those aren't so easy to get to. Would cost way more for me to run around. Apple won't cover it because I bought it separately from my ipad. I bought the 2-yr extended warranty-- won't kick in until my Apple warranty runs out in a year (but again, can't get anybody to work with me on the Apple warranty). I literally just bought an amazing stylus off of Amazon and it is awesome.

The Walmart associate I dealt with was very helpful. He assisted me in placing an online order when the store stock was found to be at zero. The process and my experience could not have been more pleasant! The Apple Pencil gen2 has been much nicer and more convenient than its predecessor. The wireless charging and double-tap are the the main features that stand-out.

Loving the pencil so far. I also have used a 1st gen pencil, but always hated having the pencil sticking out from the end of the iPad while charging. I pretty much set the iPad and pencil down in a safe place to charge. Major improvement with the magnetic mount on the gen 2. I also like the double tap feature. Otherwise, like the gen 1, does what it's supposed to.

The new Apple Pencil is sleek and lightweight compared to the previous version. Easily manageable. Purchased for my 12 year old son and he loves it. I am not as technologically adept as he is and I was very easily able to control the pen as well. Purchased for drawing fine details on IPad Pro.
