I bought this for my daughter to draw with, it's amazing to use. I have nothing to compare it to since I haven't used any other kinds but we love it. I was mostly impressed with how it's pressure sensitive and can be used like a real pencil, pen or paint brush. I will buy another if I need to for any reason, whether I get another ipad or if it happens to break.

First off if you have an iPad Pro I highly recommend getting the Apple Pencil! I got my 2022 iPad Pro this past December and though I wanted the pencil, I just couldn’t see spending that amount on it. I am so glad I finally gave in and bought one while they were on sale at our local Walmart recently. I love how easy it is to use. I was shocked to open it brand new from the box and have it already at 60% charge and how very simple it is to connect to. There’s no need for any extra chargers or worrying about it dying because it automatically charges up when it’s attached to the iPad, which is accomplished magnetically! The weight is a super plus for me as I love the heavier weight feel in my hands and so it also serves as a fidget for me as I think or write! I wish it had more capabilities as far as using it for navigating but for handwriting text across the board this is the best to get. From the first time I tried writing with it it instantly converted my handwriting into text with about 95% accuracy. That’s very impressive to me as I am left handed and usually struggle with stylus type accessories due to my hand dragging across everything I write however that is not an issue with the Apple Pencil. Although it may not have seemed like an essential accessory at first, I can’t see myself ever using ipad without it. I’m truly impressed and I highly recommend purchasing!

bought this pencil and a brand new IPAD together for Christmas. they aren't compatible. Have a really disappointed little girl this Christmas. Compatability said IPAD models, IPAD pro 11", IPad Pro 12.9". I bought a brand new IPad (not a pro) and they don't work together. Over $600 together!

This pencil is super accurate. The price is pretty steep, but the quality is great. I mostly use this to take quick notes, but Ive also used this in procreate and its amazing. Combine it with the paperlike screen protector and its like magic. My only complaint is I wish it came with an extra tip like the previous gen did. Not that its a big deal, the tip may last a really long time and by the time it needs replaced, it may be lost, but for the cost, it should be added in with the package. I use this on the 2021 IPad Pro 12.9 inch model and I have not had any issues. Its great as a stylus or drawing. It charges pretty fast and its a cool design to just throw it on the magnetic side of the iPad for charging. Anyway, if youre on the fence about purchasing like I was, I say go for it. Itll be the best pencil/stylus youve had yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2nd generation pencil is magnetized to attach automatically to the iPad pro 11. No need to plug it in to charge it,…..it’s all done wirelessly. I literally didn't need to do a thing to pair it to my iPad. Its very intuitive and everything just happens automatically! I held off getting a pencil because I didn’t want one more thing to have to charge. When I found out it was wireless charging,….I was sold.

The pencil came with 0% battery. Ive been charging it for 30 minutes and it hasnt charged a single bit. I read that if the pencil goes a prolonged period of time at 0%, it wont be able to charge anymore. I wish they tested it before selling it to me. It was way too expensive.

I love the new features. [Pros] 1) The magnetic charge works well, even with a protective silicone cover. 2) It's the perfect size for drawing and feels more like a writing instrument compared to most styluses, which are typically small with a thin profile. 3) The double-tap feature is nice and has the potential to become more useful in the future. 4) The weight of it is great, and it feels pretty solid. Its Apple. It’s too expensive. But we love them. And this is my 4th one because I use it all day long, literally, and drop it 3-4 times a day. So they should have a frequent buyer plan or something. That being said, it’s very durable for how much it looks like it isn’t.

Yep, it's expensive. Maybe a little overpriced. But it is amazing, and for someone like me it's worth the price. Pressure sensitive, angle sensitive, replaceable tips, magnetic wireless charging, double tap mode change. This thing is amazing, works perfect. I use it with Procreate.
