Didn’t work. Had a special pricing online, purchased and the battery was shot. Would never get past 60%. Wouldn’t connect properly to my iPad. Essentially it was useless. Tried everything from rebooting my iPad to resetting it completely.

The iPad And Pencil are 2 separate items, as an artist I was looking forward to using the pencil, I have a regular iPad as well with. Gen 1 pencil and the gen 2 has an easier to hold feel as it has a flat side like a regular pencil would have. That side is also the way of charging it, whereas the 1st gen one uses a lightning adapter to charge, the flat side also has a tap feature so you do not have to change from brush to erasers in the program just tap twice and you are in business. I also fully recommend buying an otter box case for it s it is very thin and light and fragile, the glass is wonderful and it would be a shame for it to break.

Would recommend this if you've been thinking about getting one for a while. Walmart shipped this so fast, I had it delivered in 2 days. Good packaging, secure and the original box was not damaged.

THIS ITEM IS FAKE. The magnet is not as strong as the real apple pencil. The charging takes HOURS. You can definitely tell the difference.

The battery failed, I haven’t even had it for a full year, and I haven’t to buy another one. WILL NOT be purchasing another apple product here.

It worked in the beginning. Had it not long at all and the double tap gesture on the pencil itself would not work. Attempted troubleshooting in every way imaginable and it would not seem to work. Would still connect, write, erase, do anything the way it was supposed to. For some reason it would not let me no longer do the double tap near the tip of the pencil. Yes, ive had these before. I tried restarting the iPad, checked if the gesture setting was on, changed the setting and back, disconnected and reconnected the pen, and even reset my settings (which was a last resort stated from apple) and nothing worked. I do not believe this is in the fault of Walmart, but in apple themselves. I rely heavily on Apple and their pens, and ive bought many (unfortunately, because they would not work for very long) but for it to not work in a shorter time than usual is strange…
