My cats love Iams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are already swarming the food bowl and eating this one like crazy!! They eat the healthy adult one from Iams, but since they love this one also I’ll add this one into the mix as well. Iams is so great for my cats that range in age from 15-2 years old. I have 6 cats and they all agree on Iams. They love it for the texture and taste. I buy a bag of it a week and it is well worth the money since everyone loves it and it’s great nutrition for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a short haired cat that had weight issues and since he began on this food I have noticed a change in his weight. He is looking better and hasn't been getting sick. I also have a long haired cat that had constant problems with hair balls but since she has started on this food I noticed she hasn't had that problem. I am overall very pleased with this product.

Not enough info

I have not used the product. I use a vet recommended feeding system for my cat (excerciser food ball) and would love to use it with Iams food. The problem is that it only works with kibble of a certain shape and up to a certain size. I can't find any info on the bag or on the website to determine if this will work in my feeder. Would a pic on the bag really be so difficult? Other Iams foods I have used with my dogs have been great which is what I am basing my quality rankings on; my cat is missing out.

Back to using Iams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used to use Iams for our two 12 year old cats. But, a while ago when there was a big Iams recall we stop using them. Since we have alternated between a few different brands. The cats never finish their food. Since we received our bag of Iams Adult Indoor Weigth and hairball control food the food bowl has been completely emptied each night. I guess the cats prefer the Iams. Looks like we're back to being an Iams household.

Great tasting healthy cat food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kitty loves the taste of her new Iams ProActive Health Adult Indoor Weight & Hairball Care Dry Cat Food with Chicken & Turkey. When choosing a cat food we were looking at quality, benefits, & taste. I like that Chicken is the first ingredient and we can afford a good healthy cat food to help control her hairballs and maintain a healthy weight for her & she loves it.

What a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this product(for free to review)from Iams, I wasn't convinced it would be a truly better choice than the other product we have used for years. I was not paid to review this product and only give truthful and hopefully helpful reviews. I give honest reviews about real products and how they benefit my family. We have a very large family of humans and furbabies. We have 5 dogs(Ashe,Bella, Chewie, Dakota, & Ruby), 3 cats(Scruffy(king of hair balls), Tiny(not so tiny), and Fiona), and 1 bunny who just so happens to be a cancer survivor. I've only heard positive things about Iams and since my husband brings anything he finds home, I've had to tighten the purse strings to ensure everyone gets fed. We've got one cat, Scruffy, who seems to hack up furballs on a daily basis. He was a stray and has been checked out by the vet. The vet said it would get better as he acclimated to having daily meals and not having to hunt for food. Fast forward 3 years and he still hacks up a couple times a week. We started transitioning his food out and he has been on Iams exclusively for about 4 days. Since that change I've noticed the lack of hair balls waiting for me to clean up. Tiny has started to arrive early for her meals, not that she missed any before, but she truly seems excited about the new taste. Fiona has a 'yes I'm a princess' personality, and doesn't seem to care either way, as long as her meal arrives promptly. The difference I have seen so far with the lack of hairballs has been great. At this rate I we will be making a permanent switch just for the lack of hairballs alone! Tiny who really could use a diet plan, seems to love the flavor and I look forward to seeing what it can do for her. The fact that she looks forward to her next bowl is a great indicator that it won't get left in her bowl. That has been a fear of mine when thinking about switching her to 'diet' food. I also like knowing they are getting all the essential nutrients they need along the way. At this rate, the little extra expense is well worth not having to scrap up the hairballs every morning! I hope this helps and I will let you know what happens with Tiny's waist line!

Cats eat it pretty much unrestricted. They maintain a healthy weight on this cat food and I have not seen many hairballs from my hairball-prone senior cat since switching. If the cats like it and are healthy, no problems. I recommend you try for oldee cats

Healthy & Hairball Free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After feeding Iams Proactive Health: Indoor Weight & Hairball Care to our two cats, we are very happy with the results and the chance to test this product. Our oldest cat, Abby, has been having fewer hairballs, which is important to us and makes it easier to come home and not worry if we have to search for hairballs on the floor. I also feel relieved knowing that she's eating something that is made for indoor cats and designed to help keep her healthy. She's a little overweight so it's important that she gets good food. Our other cat, Garrett, has been a little less interested in the Iams. I think mostly because he prefers wet food but if we give him the Iams before the wet food, he will eat it. He is also overweight because he prefers to lie around more than chase toys and exercise in the house. I'm hopeful that the Iams will help keep him healthy and sustain his current weight (or ideally even lose some weight!). You can see Abby trying out the Iams early on in the attached photo.

Selby Falls in Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nearly five year old kitty, Selby is usually very shy and very skittish, especially around children. But today we opened the bag of Iams and she came running. Not only did she eat it out of the bowl without getting scared, but she ate some out of my daughter's hand. For the first time my daughter was able to pet Selby and Selby did not appear to be scared. It was a magical moment for us and one that we hope will continue.
