I have eaten these for a long time as I have digestion issues. This last box that I bought are completely different. They now have whole peanuts in them, and are extremely salty and taste bad! Please go back to the original recipe. Now I have to find a new protein bar. Disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Special K Strawberry Protein Meal Bar s is tasty and easy to take on the go. The protein meal bar has a chewy and gooey texture and has bits of fruit and crunchy cereal texture. I like the taste which has a mild strawberry taste and isn't overall sugary. I like that there is a lot of vitamins in this protein bar so it's a great treat to have and fills my cravings for having a candy bar. There are 12 grams of protein in the bar and does not have any weird after taste like some other protein bars.

I have had a few as a quick lunch when running around. They've also been great to keep me going in the afternoon until I can have dinner. Will definitely purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter variety of Kellogg's Special K Protein Meal Bars, and I liked them. The bars have a good amount of protein, fiber, and other nutrients. The texture was pleasant and I felt satiated after eating it. However, I am a huge fan of peanut butter and I felt like the chocolate taste overpowered the peanut butter in these bars. I'd like to see that mix be more balanced. I am looking forward to trying more flavors of the Special K Protein Bars. In particular, I am excited to try to Brownie Batter flavor.

I wasn't hungry after eating one of these. I'm excited to try the chocolate peanut butter flavor next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kellogg's Special K Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Meals Bars were pretty darn good. Good chocolate and peanut taste without tasting overly sweet. The one down side is that they do contain 12gs of added sugar. UGH! 12 grams?! Why do companies have to add so much sugar? So, I will be eating all these when my diabetic husband is not around. They do work great for on-the-go life styles. They were filling enough to keep away the "hangrys" I would like to try one of the fruit flavors next, I think those might be better for a breakfast on the run.

But it should have been: nutrition facts show good readings for what you want and what you don't. Taste is excellent. This one has a definite peanut butter taste without it being overwhelming.

I had one as a lunch on the go and it kept me full and satiated until dinnertime! It is a protein bar, so it has that gritty taste, but the strawberry flavor muted that out. It is a tad on the sweet side, but otherwise pretty good meal replacement bar!
