Excellent TV for the money
Overall a very nice TV. Setup went well although there were quite a few screens to go through setting up Google TV which I didn't really care about. The picture is sharp and vibrant (Film Maker Mode setting). The remote is well laid out, has backlighting and the shortcut buttons work very well. It is very responsive when switching between the different streaming services unlike the TV it replaces. The sound from the TV speakers is nothing special, I have it connected to a sound bar and that works quite nicely. I would recommend this TV, you get a lot of features for not much money!

Love my new TCZ tv. exactly as expected. Great quality. Motion rate is far better than my previous tv. Bright clear strong color quality picture. sound is not quite as good as anticipated but is by no means substandard. I'm just not used to having speakers on the back of the tv. Very lightweight but good quality. Setup was a breeze. So nice to just link to my Google account. From there I only had to push a few buttons and it did everything for me. the legs are a little flimsy but they work and if it's going to hung then it's no worry. I definitely recommend you take a look at this TV and consider it strongly in comparing to other TV's in its price range. Really impressed with TCL. 👍🏼

Best midrange TV of 2025
This TV is spectacular! I’m honestly thrilled with this purchase. Upgraded from a 43” that I’ve had for several years and it’s night and day difference. Setup was easy, paired my Google account to it quickly. Looks AMAZING. 4k HDR with my PS5 is wonderful. Interface is snappy and responsive compared to my last TV. The value for the money here is through the roof. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better midrange TV for the price this year. Don’t forget an HDMI 2.1 cable if you want the best picture! I purchased one for the TV and one for the PS5 at time of purchase and I’m glad I did.

HDMI PORTS GLITCHY; INITIALLY LOOSE/UNSEATED
The summer of 2025 was NOT kind to us in that we had two older model flat screen TV's succumb to HDMI damage from thunderstorms within one 2 week period. Our tech-savvy son recommended the TCL brand due to it's features; overall quality, brilliant picture, and relative "ease" on the wallet. Since our initial TCL new purchase had been functioning well for about a month, and seemed of good quality, we elected to purchase another, with somewhat upgraded features due to it's main living-room viewing location within our home (which sadly, also happens to have quite a bit of glare from windows). We have very limited tech knowledge (and even LESS patience), so after extensive product searches, reviews, and product comparison, we selected and purchased the TCL 55" QM6K 4K SMART TV. This model seemed to fit our needs, especially the lighted remote, 4 HDMI ports, improved side angle viewing, and reduced glare screen. The product was delivered to our home, however we were bummed upon having noticed a small 2" puncture on the large flat portion of the box. We were relieved to find that there was no visible damage to the unit, and happy to find it functioning once electricity was applied. Our son provided installation/hook up of the TV. Although initially disappointed with the crispness and vibrancy of the picture, I was soon thrilled, as I took to fine tuning the set to my liking. The ONE CAVEAT that we did encounter was consistent failure of HDMI %231 to produce a picture when the set was powered up. MY techy son insisted it was our XFINITY cable box, however troubleshooting proved that my office TV worked fine from that same cable box. It took weeks of frustration and research to isolate the problem, which seems to be "loose or faulty HDMI connections". TCL advises owners to use their thumb to firmly depress each HDMI port, thus reseating any loose connections, and/or try a new HDMI cable. Then replug your individual components. Thus far, I have only swapped components for ports %231 and 2 (main TV/cable is now functioning on port %232)... AND, so far, so good. For the last 3 weeks, I have been able to power on the tv without issue. I LOVE the picture and the sound, but the best part is the lighted remote and the marked reduction in glare from our windows and wall lamps. (Even my husband noticed and commented!) While the HDMI port connection WAS and may STILL present a problem, I'm afraid to admit that it may require more tech assistance to accurately ascertain and work through that issue. In the interim, HDMI glitch aside, we are relatively pleased with this unit. We ARE, however, considering purchase of a universal remote to allow more ease of use, but for now, we're just happy to once again have use of a TV... and one with such a clear, bright, vivid picture - and just in time for the official start of the 2025 NFL season!

This TM6K TV has an excellent quality picture and great sound. It fully supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 and HLG. Its brightness is excellent and its HDR quality is amazing. With over 500 dimming zones it handles dark and bright scenes perfectly. Its feature-set is amazing, from the high quality screen and build quality to the illuminated remote control which is included. It also supports HDMI passthrough for a wide array of surround sound formats over eARC including DTS-MA and most if not all other digital formats. It has a stunning refresh rate as well for television, gaming, or movies it excels at all three. It has an excellent viewing angle and motion blur is non existent. Terrific value and picture quality. Needing an extra tv for specifically gaming needs this one checks all the right boxes. Audio quality is superior as well.
