My son helped me pick out this TV when my Samsung died after only 6 years. He does research on these things and found this to be very highly rated with a great picture quality. I'm not loving the Google TV part, so I simply plugged my Roku back in and I was back in business. It was very easy to lift to install on the bracket because it is extremely lightweight. Very happy so far.

Terrific value and picture quality. Needing an extra tv for specifically gaming needs this one checks all the right boxes. Audio quality is superior as well. I haven’t even thought about external speaker options as this tv packs a punch. Aside from gaming it has so far paired quite well with my existing Apple TV 4K box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in June 2025, this is by far the best TV I've ever owned and at a great price. Beautiful picture, crisp rich color, deep blacks, bright whites, phenomenal contrast. I saw Caleb of Digital Trends/Caleb Rated recommend it and saw the price had dropped. Well I'm so glad I bought it. The built-in Onkyo 2.1 speakers are more than enough for home streamers. I have a Sony Dolby Atmos Reciever and I swear it sounds better than it ever did. The remote is great with backlight, easy voice commands. Lots of apps to choose from, Antenna channels look unbelievable so much that I dropped YouTube TV. Best bang for the buck all the high end features in an affordable obtainable package and you save it not needing a soundbar. Yes adding one will enhance the soundstage but out of the box this TV has so much going for it. Dont get the less expensive QM5K or more expensive versions this QM6K is the perfect balance between cost vs features.

Great picture. Great features. Everything works great and snappy, UNTIL you fire up YouTube TV and start a 4K stream. Every other service works fine in 4K, but YouTube kills it. TV freezes up constantly unless fully restarted before watching the show. Even TV controls become super slow.

I bought this model three days ago and gave it a bad write up because the soundbar was not working correctly with the TV. As it turns out the problem was with the Roku stick I installed. After long searching Google I found that there can be an issue with the CEC interface between the Roku stick and the HDMI port. A CEC HDMI adapter may be needed between the stick and HDMI port. The TV sends audio to the soundbar correctly as long as the Roku stick is not installed on the TV. The Roku stick can be used as long as you only use the internal speakers. I will buy the CEC adapter and try it to resolve this issue. MY APOLOGIES TO TCL FOR DOWNGRADING THEIR PRODUCT. YES, I would buy again.

i had not bought a tv since 2015.i did my research, both written and watched YouTube videos. i liked what i heard so took a chance on investing in this. Im very glad i did. it is an excellent tv to purchase, both from a price and the quality perspective. im still learning about its many adjustments. however, there is nothing in it i cant figure out. it has a crisp picture and the sound is marvelous too. remember I come from a now considered vintage tv viewing experience. im so glad i chose this tv. it is the highest quality for money that i found. you will not be disappointed with this TCL!

This TV is spectacular! I’m honestly thrilled with this purchase. Upgraded from a 43” that I’ve had for several years and it’s night and day difference. Setup was easy, paired my Google account to it quickly. Looks AMAZING. 4k HDR with my PS5 is wonderful. Interface is snappy and responsive compared to my last TV. The value for the money here is through the roof. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better midrange TV for the price this year. Don’t forget an HDMI 2.1 cable if you want the best picture! I purchased one for the TV and one for the PS5 at time of purchase and I’m glad I did.

Overall a very nice TV. Setup went well although there were quite a few screens to go through setting up Google TV which I didn't really care about. The picture is sharp and vibrant (Film Maker Mode setting). The remote is well laid out, has backlighting and the shortcut buttons work very well. It is very responsive when switching between the different streaming services unlike the TV it replaces. The sound from the TV speakers is nothing special, I have it connected to a sound bar and that works quite nicely. I would recommend this TV, you get a lot of features for not much money!

This TM6K TV has an excellent quality picture and great sound. It fully supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 and HLG. Its brightness is excellent and its HDR quality is amazing. With over 500 dimming zones it handles dark and bright scenes perfectly. Its feature-set is amazing, from the high quality screen and build quality to the illuminated remote control which is included. It also supports HDMI passthrough for a wide array of surround sound formats over eARC including DTS-MA and most if not all other digital formats. It has a stunning refresh rate as well for television, gaming, or movies it excels at all three. It has an excellent viewing angle and motion blur is non existent. It has great motion smoothing features and upscaling for SDR content. I am extremely happy with this TV and its a great upgrade for anyone who appreciates quality and superb craftsmanship.
