My family and I love peppers so we tried this oil in the pan with some red and green peppers. They came out perfectly and not overdone. The flavor of the olive oil doesn't overtake the flavor of the food. It comes in a plastic bottle which makes it lighter in weight and easier to use when cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know olive oil is one of the "good" fats so I try to use it where I can but I honestly haven't ever been in love with it's flavor which I find to be a bit over powering and strong most of the time, so much so that for dishes where the oil is one of the major ingredients it was just too much for my taste. I got this Pompeian Smooth Extra Virgin Olive Oil in n hopes that it would not be so strong and off putting to me and it tastes great. I can now dip my fresh homemade baquette in olive oil and actually enjoy the taste.

Here lately I have put it on asparagus in the oven, also when frying things in the skillet. With it being the smooth it gives it the nice texture.

I found that it works great for many thing like stir fry, I used it in my NUWAVE even making home made squash bread and its just great for sautéing with just a very mild flavor.
