I was hyped about this new product. Low sugar, high protein coffee is always gonna have a place in my face. I got my cup all ready, full up with ice. Poured that mocha flavor in. Popped the straw and took a sip. It. Was. Just. Chocolate. Well chocolate and that typical Premier Protein background flavor. Super bummed. The caramel one was not that much better. These are handy to have around for an emergency pick me up, but they will not be my go to morning buzz any time soon.

I tried the Caramel Macchiato protein drink for breakfast and enjoyed the flavor. It was very convenient drinking it on the run. It was cold from being refrigerated overnight and was actually delicious. It kept me from feeling hungry for approximately 4-5 hours. I felt it was worth the calories and cost. I chose to drink the Mocha flavor in the afternoon since I had not had lunch. I didn’t care for the flavor of it near as much as the Caramel Macchiato. Even though it was cold from being refrigerated it just didn’t suit my taste. I even tried putting it over ice, but still wasn’t a flavor I’d want to drink again. I’m sure others might enjoy the taste, but I don’t particularly prefer to have it again. Both flavors have a smooth feel in your mouth. I tried reading the labels to see if they were caffeinated, but didn’t find that particular info listed.

I love the idea of this. A protein shake with caffeine! 30 grams of protein, and only 3 grams of carbs is pretty hard to find in an ice coffee drink. The Caramel Macchiato flavor wasn’t bad. It tastes pretty sweet, and does not have a grainy texture. The mocha flavored shake alone was too much for me. I could see adding it to a smoothie, or freezing as a popsicle. Maybe pour it over ice, or use as a creamer instead of milk.

The Premier Protein Coffeehouse caramel macchiato and mocha drinks are very creamy and not chalky at all. The mocha tastes mostly like chocolate milk. I enjoyed the caramel macchiato because it had more of a coffee flavor and I could taste the caramel. While the creaminess was nice, it was a bit overly sweet for me and I don’t think I could drink a whole bottle. However, this is a convenient way to get some coffee and lots of protein in one spot.

I really enjoyed both of the Premier Protein Shake coffee flavors! As someone always looking for ways to add protein to my diet, these have 30mg per serving and didn’t disappoint! I like that they had just enough sweetness and a light coffee taste. The Carmel Macchiato was my favorite of the two but the Mocha was very good as well. They weren’t chalky like some brands which is a plus!

I like these take anywhere shakes especially because they pack an easy 30g of protein in each bottle.I enjoyed the smooth and light texture of both the shakes. These shakes don’t taste chalky at all! The mocha delivered a rich chocolate–coffee combo and was quite refreshing, while the caramel macchiato had a creamy coffee taste with just enough sweetness. Definitely a bonus of these shakes is that they are low on sugar, and an easy to grab and take along anywhere kind of treat for a busy momma!!!

This protein drink packs in the flavor. From the first smell to the last sip you get a strong coffee flavor. Didn’t find much caramel flavor with the caramel macchiato, just a strong coffee flavor. With the mocha we got a bit more of the flavor with strong coffee in the background. When I think about the fact that it is a protein drink I find myself being impressed that it is well flavored for coffee lovers. It does not have any lingering flavor or any indication that it is anything other than a cold brew beverage.

I really enjoyed drinking the Premier Protein Coffeehouse. Both flavors were good, mocha was chocolatety but the caramel macchiato was my favorite. They were creamy and thick and didn't have a after taste. I would definitely buy the caramel macchiato again. I felt the 30 grams of protein made me feel fuller longer.
