My second Senix tool. Quality 4 cycle string trimmer, easy to start, easy to use, good quality, fantastic price.

After shopping around several different vendors sold this same product but Walmart kicked their butt on price!! Hopefully I will win one of the past drawings I entered. I am looking to buy twp or three bicycles for exercise as we retired two years ago. Unless someone else beats Walmarts price I will be going there probably? I am one of those that spends the time to search especially now that we're retired.

Trying to replace the line on the spool is very difficult. It's hard to press the release buttons in order to take out the winding core. Also, trying to keep the line on the core after winding it while guiding the line ends into the holes will really test your patience. This is why I would not recommend this product. I might even return it due to this design snafu.

My Craftsman weedeater (identical to the Senix) had a terminal failure. I bought the Senix because I loved the one I had. It is quiet (4cycle) and very fuel efficient. No oil/gas mixing mess. Reports of hard to start have never been an issue. Would not hesitate to buy again or recommend!

Read the comments and thought Ok, how hard could stringing a trimmer be. The engine appeared to have some power, but the line kept getting caught either around the spring or the clip(s) that hold the trimmer's head, which resulted in the line continuously breaking. Frustrating enough, but then, to reload this trimmer was a true test of patience, coordination, and skill. Much more than required if the trimmer's head were designed correctly and a bit more user-friendly. I don't have the patience or the time to wrestle with this toy in 90-degree Florida heat every other weekend. It is going back, and I'm back to shopping for a trimmer (again).

I have another Senix tool, a leaf blower, and am very satisfied with it. This string trimmer is lightweight and easy to start. Their guarantee is very good, if you have a problem just call and they will resolve it quickly. I bought this string trimmer because of my experience with the blower. I especially like the four stroke feature, because the machines are easy to start and are quieter than the two stroke. in my experience. Next time I buy a gas-powered tool I will first look to Senix for sure.

not as much power as i thought it would have. but it handles well. (not 2 heavy and it starts up. you can also buy attachment ) the down side check oil often after each use. didnt no u had 2 buty oil and gas like a car. the price should be less. wont be keeping this product.
