Given that my husband went from an electric weed eater to a gas weed eater, this has been a wonderful product!!! I think it has cut his yard work time down by at least 15-20 mins (we have a lot of landscape!) The weight is perfect, the price is right, and it gets the job done!

There are good and bad about this but I don't like the fact it has very low power. It does start right up and is easy to pull the cord and uses gas with no oil mixture so those are good things. It does stall out and this happens even more frequently than it should because it has a poor design flaw that lets the grass/weeds get wrapped around the back of the trimmer hub! It's like putting the brakes on. I have a different type of cutting head that is made of metal I am going to replace the trimmer hub with and hopefully that will eliminate most of the problem. If it works then this is a fairly good weed wacker and I will be happy enough with it otherwise it's going to sit in the corner and only get used when my old one completely dies!

i hot it ontime. it was easy to use. but, one note when your not using it empty out gas and let it set uprightfor storage because if you dont the gas can dry up in the motor and seize it up. you wont be able to pull the string to start. you will have to take the spark plug out to free it up. it will build up pressure and get stuck. put back in and normal operation will be reinstated. clean area before reinstalling the spark plug.

this weedeater does it job, but when my husband used it for awhile it burnt his forearm! Use with great caution!
