I use this product fairly regularly and I can say with confidence that it doesn't break me out or irritate my skin (sensitive combination skin with some acne) but it's not the best option for me when my skin is feeling more dry in the colder months, I've found it can make the dryness worse during that time. I prefer to use this product in the warmer months when my skin is producing more oil. I find that it doesn't dry my skin during that time, and provides a nice gentle clean.

Best cleanser for acne-prone skin. After years of white heads, ginormous enlarged pores, mild acne turned to a cystic mess, I've found a product that has worked wonders for my skin. My dermatologist asked me to switch to this (I was earlier using Neutrogena's Oil Free salicylic face wash that she thought was extra harsh on my skin, and she was right!) This Cetaphil cleanser does not lather but that does not mean it's not doing its job. It's mild, fragrance-free, clears out your skin in a matter of weeks - and all I've been doing is washing my face with this twice a day and dabbing on moisturizer. This stuff works!

I love this daily use cleanser. I use it on the mornings and nights and it is very gente with my skin (I have oily skin), and it has a delicious smell when applying it. Overall this is one of my favorite products for skin care. Defined recommend giving it a try.

This product is really great at making my skin feel clean and refreshed. It is perfect for when I am breaking out because it feels like it is really cleaning out all the dirt in my breakouts. The only thing that I don't like about this cleanser is that it dries out my skin too much, leading to it peeling.

I had oily skin and acne issues so my doctor recommended this Cetaphil face wash because it's gently, unscented, and didn't have anything added in that could mess with my skin. After starting Accutane, my skin got extremely dry and my dermatologist recommended I continue with this cleanser. It's been great to me, through both oily and dry skin times. I've since finished my Accutane treatment and my skin has oily day and dry days, but this face wash never lets me down. It hasn't worsened my skin problems in any way like some other cleansers have. The Cetaphil gently face wash is now my ONLY skincare step every night. I wash my face and that's all I need, it keeps my acne at bay amaxingly! I moisturize occasionally, but no serums, face masks,or anything but this face wash!

I love the simplicity yet effectiveness of this cleanser. Natural ingredients while thoroughly cleansing face. My face feels fresh when I use it. When I'm wearing makeup, I don't always use a makeup remover quote prior to cleansing and this still gets it off. Very happy with this product!!

This is my trusted go-to cleanser when my skin is a bit irritated, I need to take off a lot at the end of the day, or I just need a super gentle wash. The consistency is milky, so no foaming. Because of this, at times it can seem like you need more than one pump. This being said, this cleanser is fantastic for double cleansing. Not only is it gentle enough to do so, it's wallet-conscious enough to do so!

GREAT GENTLE CLEANSER IT DOES A NICE JOB REMOVING MAKEUP. DID NOT STING EYES WHICH IS A PLUS IT PROVIDES A REFRESHED FEELING . I AM SUPER OILY AND THIS DID AN OK JOB AT MIN MY OIL. AS FOR ACNE ALSO A MINIMUM JOB I HAVE BEEN USING FOR CLOSE 3 MONTHS I LOVE THE WAY IT CLEANSE THE SKIN WITH A SOFTNESS THERAFTER.
