Why was I forced to pay $35 to get my refund 5 days early when I was perfectly ok with waiting? I wont file with Turbo tax again. The harrassment is off putting.

Still the most fool-proof way to file taxes for someone who does not know taxes at all. But it has absolutely lost it's affordability. 90$ just to file basic W2s and other common tax forms. I will be looking for other options next filing season.

I love turbo tax it's easy to use and understand, it helped me fix my taxed when I missed something. It's a excellent program and I hope more people try it,

Had to pay $79 just to finish filing taxes which is more than what I got back and they said I couldn’t use the free option because of retirement. What’s the point of having a free version if I can’t even use it so I have to spend money that I don’t have just to submit my taxes. I didn’t need the deluxe version to even do my taxes. Did it myself with the free version, but couldn’t submit it

Forcing people to purchase a $54 package so that they can pay for their filing fees out of their refund is greedy and predatory. The people most impacted by this are poor people who don’t have the money to pay upfront, so you’re essentially charging them a poor tax so that your $200 BILLION company can make even more money. I have used Turbo Tax since 2000 but I won’t be using them again.

When I filed my taxes this year. they never got sent. I have filed and been with TurboTax for 7-8 years now and have never had such a poor result as 2024's tax Year filing. I have never had an issue filing, and I submitted(so I thought) early in March 2025 instead of past years when I did them near or on April 15 just out of priniciple! Not only did my taxes not get submitted in March, as a result someone else claimed my daughter as head of household. My ex wife and I had a verbal agreement, she gets the dependent claim, I get the Head of Household claim!!! Because my taxes didn't transmit, not only do I now face fines, interest, and penalties but instead of a refund, I now owe 857 + fines, interest, and penalties!! Gee fricking thanks TurboTax!!! Y'all can say I never hit the transmit button, but I am an accountant who once had a TIN, and I have been with y'all many years now for convenience of reprinting returns on demand, and I know I hit transmit!!!
