[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this shed as a tester to be able to write this review, but the thoughts and opinions are my own. The Lifetime 7ft x 7ft Architect Series Outdoor Storage Shed is a really beautiful and compact shed. We were running out of storage space in our garage, and were leaving things like our wheelbarrow out in the rain which wasn’t ideal. We don’t have a ton of space and want our yard to look nice, so the architect series shed was really perfect. It has realistic details like shingles and trim that make it look like a hand-built wooden shed. I really like the integrated skylights and windows in the doors which let in lots of light so you can see everything you’re storing. The included wall hooks are great for tools and I like that they are movable. The size of the shed was small enough to fit in our yard but was spacious inside to fit all our outdoor tools. We had an existing concrete pad for the shed, and I would strongly recommend you build the shed on a concrete or wooden pad to make sure everything stays level. It took us two weekends to assemble the shed. I was able to assemble the trusses and doors with myself and my 5 year old child, who had a great time screwing things together. We needed two adults and two kids for some of the vertical assembly parts, and having a third adult would have been helpful. One thing that’s not clear in the instructions is that the solid round metal rods are for the walls, and the metal rods with slots are for inside the doors. I mixed those up and had to swap them after the walls were up. There really should be a clip to hold the center truss to the walls-If you don’t have someone holding it in place the entire time you’re putting on the roof panels it can easily fall and hit someone on the head. I also had trouble getting the doors aligned-no matter what I did the top latch didn’t line up (see picture). The quick wall clips take a bit of force to click in, but do make the wall assembly quick with no tools needed. I’m also a bit worried about the durability of the outside corners of the walls - you bend these to make the corner and it looks like the plastic is already a bit worn. Once assembled though the shed is very sturdy-it just survived a big rainstorm and kept everything inside nice and dry. Overall this is a beautiful compact shed that will look great in your yard, as long as you give yourself time and space for assembly.

First off, this thing requires a ton of assembly, gables, walls, doors, floor, etc. - that took a good solid afternoon - 5+ hours. The next day the building of the shed was not bad, maybe a couple of hours. Finished product is nice, holds what I need it to. Do not know if it's water tight yet. Plastic is strong but go easy on the screws so you don't strip anything out.

It was easier to put together than we expected, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. We already have it filled with our yard tools, lawn mower, and extra supplies, and it still has plenty of room. I especially love the adjustable holders for rakes and shovels! it keeps everything organized and easy to grab. It also looks really nice in our yard and keeps everything protected from the weather while not taking up a bunch of yard space! Overall, such a practical upgrade to our backyard space!

We bought this shed a few years ago and love it. I fit all of my pool and summer decorations with no problem and we have a lot of outdoor stuff. Seen its on sale at Sams this week and ordering another for my husband's stuff. We have an old wooden shed that needs a lot of work. It will be cheaper to replace with this one and no maintenance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shed seems fairly small from the outside but it really is the perfect size. The build took us (we are inexperienced in shed building) roughly 3-4 hours from start to finish. We had 2-3 people helping at a time. There are TONS of instructions which seemed over whelming at first but was actually very nice as it laid out the “how to” step by step. My advice? Allow plenty of time to build it. Trust the process and don’t rush it. Aesthetically, it’s very nice! Beautiful even.This shed is FAR from an eye sore ( which let’s face it, a lot of sheds are..) The part I love the most is the skylights at the top! No more pulling a flashlight out during the day to find what I need in the shed! Well done, lifetime.

This was a perfect sized shed for what I needed it for although I thought it was difficult to put together and the screws were not individually labeled. The last step to put on the sunroof was !?/;&>#! This is what it said in the directions on the last page.

It was super easy to assemble, and honestly the kids had a blast helping me put the walls together, which made it way more enjoyable than a typical build. Once it was up, the first thing I noticed is how sturdy it feels. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all, and you can tell it’s built to last. I’ve already started moving stuff in and it holds a ton more than I expected, which is exactly what I needed. The funny part is my kids immediately wanted to turn it into their own little hangout spot, and honestly… I kind of love that idea. It’s actually a pretty cool space. I also like that it’s ventilated, so even after sitting in the sun all day it doesn’t feel insanely hot when you open it up. And overall, it just looks really clean in the yard—it doesn’t stick out in a bad way like some sheds do. Overall, really happy with it so far.

This shed has the potential to be great. Several design flaws need to be improved. The roof assembly should be connected by more than just sliding together. The skylight should be sturdier. A piece broke while assembling. Parts should be clearly labeled especially the screws and bolts. The shed looks nice once assembled and bolted to the level base. We have a small shed from Lifetime that we love. It has held up well over the last three years of daily use.

We really like the windows and sky light and the over-all look is pretty compared to most sheds. The grey color and textures are really nice. Assembly went fairly smoothly and was moderately easy. It took a couple evenings after work to build. The clips made things much easier. We had the one of the panels wrong at first and it was no problem to fix because of the clips - no unscrewing dozens of screws.
