I am a FTM and bought this for my baby. The owlet sock is wonderful, but the owlet camera is HORRIBLE! Not a day goes by that we don’t have some sort of problem with it. We have excellent wifi, but constantly experience lagging if we have the video quality high. Sometimes the screen blacks out, so it doesn’t show anything. Or it just randomly decides to say it isn’t connected to wifi. Save yourself some money and buy a non-wifi monitor.

It comes in a compact box and was easy to set up. There is no paper instruction manual, but it does have a qr code to scan that guides you through the setup process. I found it very easy and quick to set up. The socks are very soft and comfortable for her to wear. It was so easy and soft to put on that I did it all while she slept without waking up. She needed the larger sock, and all you have to do to change it out is to push out the battery and push it into the new sock. With the app, I can track her sleep cycles, oxygen, and heart rate. I wish I had used this for all my babies!

For anyone who knows what it’s like to have the feeling of constantly needing to check on your baby, this will give you some peace of mind! The sock tracks your baby’s heart rate, oxygen levels, their sleep patterns and movement. The camera shows the room temperature and humidity level. The only issue I have come across is the camera can run hot so it throws off the temperature gage. You can customize the notifications which will alert you on your phone and the sock base. I truly love this item and use it every day. I 100% recommend this for all moms. It comes packaged so nicely and instructions are easy for set up.

I like that it pairs with an app where I can see everything from the baby's stats and the live feed of the crib. There's a couple things I'm not a fan of. First, the camera pod was scratched. I had opened it and noticed the scratches. This isn't a big deal, but if I had purchased this for the retail amount I would not want any scratches. Next, I wish the camera was wireless. This would make it much easier to change where I want to place the camera. It would be more convenient for times when the child is sleeping in a different house for the night or maybe in a different room. The camera quality is decent and I find the size of the camera nice because it doesn't take up a lot of space and isn't too much of an eye sore. Its also mountable so it can be horizontally positioned above the baby bed. The foot monitor is a little adjustable which is nice and easy to put on the baby. I appreciate that it comes with extra foot monitors.

It does give anxious parents peace of mind (especially for newborns) as it sends notifications about vitals to your phone. The camera and sock were easy enough to set up, but we did run into a bit of an issue while trying to connect to WiFi. It sees to work with android but we couldn’t get it to connect with an iPhone. Other than that, this is perfect.

This is an all in one monitoring system that sends prompt alerts when things aren’t as they should be. The packaging was very appealing, easy to read and to use. The only issue I encountered with this product were some connectivity issues between the sock and the base. Otherwise, it is a very helpful tool to ensure your child’s safety during sleep. The price point for this product is exactly where I expected it to be, it’s a bit pricier than others but worth it all day (and night) long for the safety alerts. The first time I woke up to an alert, I knew it was worth the money. My sons oxygen was at 70% - I woke him up and he was fine - however, I don’t know how things would’ve been different if he wasn’t wearing the monitoring sock and I didn’t get an alert to go check on him. Makes a perfect gift for any parent!

They have a very detailed, easy to navigate app with lots of helpful information right on the page. Set up took a few tries to connect but overall was a very easy process. The camera quality is so good, very clear imaging with a wide range of view. It is small and sleek looks good anywhere you put it. The app displays heart rate, oxygen level, room temperature and humidity. The sock is very soft and doesn’t appear to cause any discomfort, they have two sock sizes for each foot. The sensor is super easy to switch out if needed. The base that charges the monitor and sends alarms isn’t huge and has a cool light to signal different issues. I haven’t had any yet other than sock placement, my daughter tends to move a lot and doesn’t like sleeping with things on her feet most of the time but this still stays on well and accurately tracks what it’s supposed to. There have been a few issues with connectivity but nothing major. The product is very pricey but it really is worth it especially for the newborn stages with constant worries. The packaging is great and there is a QR code that can be scanned to help with set up. Overall great product and would highly recommend.

I wish I could go back in time and have had this with my first son. I think the biggest thing I would change is to be able to have a handheld monitor and not just rely on my phone for viewing my child. Other than that, this is perfect and I would recommend this to anyone no matter if it’s the 1st kid or the 8th.
