Been trying the Redcon1 MRE LITE Hostess Variety Pack lately and honestly it surprised me in a good way. Most ready-to-drink protein shakes either taste chalky or way too artificial, but these actually taste like a legit treat without feeling heavy. The Hostess flavors are spot on, especially when they're cold straight from the fridge. Big fan of the texture too smooth, filling, and easy to grab after the gym or during work when I don't have time to make something. Doesn't leave that weird protein aftertaste either. Definitely a solid option if you want higher protein without feeling like you're forcing down a typical shake.

RedCon1 always provides me with easy to digest protein, I never feel bloated or super heavy after eating their products.

Cupcake is definitely the better of the two, but either flavor is good, especially given the amount of protein in each serving. It definitely beats the competition offered at Sams Clubs

Really easy on the stomach, especially for me who's lactose intolerant. Taste is decent as well, not chalky

I love the fact that these shakes had 40 grams of protein but they are probably the worst tasting shakes I've ever had. If I was hostess there's no way I would let them use their products on the bottle.

me and my wife wanted to like these so bad but they taste medicinal. should've just paid 10 bucks more for the core power fairlife. we have to chug these to get through them

I’ve used a lot of mre products for YEARS and no complaints……until now, these are the most disgusting flavored shakes I’ve ever tasted, tbd chocolate is EXTREMELY sweet and nothing like the cupcakes, the Twinkie tastes like the liquid antibiotics (amoxicillin) for children but WORST. Stick with the regular chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shortcake mre RTD. This could be the worst 30.00 I’ve spent in a while

These are absolutely AWFUL. I never review products on Sam's but I just had to for this. I wish there had been more reviews when I bought these. I never would have. These taste nothing like Twinkies or cupcakes. They don't even taste like vanilla or chocolate. I had to hold my breath and suck them down cause I didn't want to waste them. DO NOT BUY cause I guarantee you will NOT like them. Save your money.
