The pods are so easy to just throw in a large load because they are big. They definitely soften your clothes more than the liquid detergent, so you don’t need fabric softener. Overall I really like these.

One is usually enough to get the job done although you can always use two if it’s a big load. Would highly recommend

These little pods pack a powerful punch when it comes to cleaning my clothes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited for the opportunity to review these Tide Power Pods with Downy Boosters because I like the idea of only having to use one product instead of two. While I know Tide does an excellent job washing clothes, I was worried about the fabric softener mixed in. I shouldn’t have been. These work great and removed all the odors from my gym clothes. The April Fresh scent definitely smells floral, but it isn’t overpowering. A big surprise was the size of the pods. They are much bigger than the pods I am used to without the fabric softener included. All in all, I have definitely found my new detergent.

I tested them on the blankets my dog uses since that usually takes a couple washes before they smell fresh. With these it was only one wash. They still smell fresh a week later. The blankets came out nice and soft with no static.

I do wish these came in regular (smaller) sized pods, as these Power Pods are just way too much detergent and too sudsy for small loads....but for large loads these are really good! These new SOFT pods make everything smell and feel great, and my clothes, sheets and towels stay fresh. P
