some of the questions asked were hard to interpret and not very clear. I was able to get this cleared up by speaking to Fernando and was good to go.

Turbo tax offers a lot of useful tips to filing your return. I highly recommend using this app in the future.

A little confusing at times, but then the income tax can be confusing at times.  Overall, a great product.

If I need to go one-by-one on every single item for my 1099, there is no need to pay all these money for a software.

Lots of manual effort needed

I had difficulty with the online turbo tax in he beginning and very difficult and time consuming experience with trying to reach help.

Too many fees, I didn't want the premium everything was fine without it at all. Not returning next year

It was not made clear to me I could file my taxes for free, or that there would be an additional $60 charge to my state taxes.

Terrible experience and overcharging is not appreciated as compared to last year's turbotax product.

Best feature is the download of investment info.  Also, good Q&A with the system on various questions.

Good system

Make very difficult to skip state.  One stupid issue that was not resolved and should have been by turbo tax prevented me from e-filing.

turbotax sucks!!!

I have used turbotax for over 10 years. this year it was massively disappointing. I filed an extension, and paid the estimated tax ON TIME (by April 15). then when I went to file, the software would NOT let me enter the date for that payment, and so the taxes I filed said I owed a $179 payment penalty (which is incorrect). the software help kept telling me to go to a section to fix this that does not exist. and I spoke to someone from customer  service over the phone who said it was just fine, 'just ignore it'. well I don't like the 'just ignore it' solution to something incorrect on my taxes.  I filed just to get it done...

great product, if you don't file an extension

I used an actual accountant last year thinking I needed the expertise and it was kind of a nightmare. I've used TurboTax for years before that and always satisfied. Yes the fees are annoying, but I know I'm going to get it done right. The setup is super user friendly and it feels like they've covered all possibilities for both state and federal.
