I was able to put this 5x8 shed together pretty much by myself (68 yo woman) and I am happy with the product. However, not all of the screw holes lined up and the assembly instructions could be clearer. Some of the illustrations were very ambiguous. But a little logic goes a long way. The shed seems very stable. I attached it to a wooden platform so that I could have it moved if I changed address.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] installed this shed one week ago and got a installer to put it together looks like it will be exactly what I need for extra storage. The hooks and the shelf come in handy and think I will order more hooks to get things off the floor.

I honestly have no opinion about the shed because delivery has been a nightmare. If you order this and Sam's Club chooses EFW Shipping for delivery, be prepared for multiple days of 10 hour delivery windows with no delivery, no update of expected delivery, non-existent tracking of delivery, and frustrating chats and conversations promising delivery that never happens.

I was able to assemble the shed without assistance. Parts fit well, however, the small anchors that insert into the roof were difficult to lock in. When screwing walls to roof, anchors would turn and not hold. I had to secure the roof from the gutters to the front wall metal header with metal straps. I also ran a wire rope over the roof at the front and back and anchored it to the concrete platform. This also helped better secure the shed against hurricane winds.

You will need an extra person. I tried to do it all by myself. Some parts you must get another person to assist you. You need two people putting the doors, snapping the panels in place and screwing the roof in. The roof was difficult because the black clips kept spinning. I used a flat head screw driver to hold it in place to allow screw to go to in. The panels are very difficult to go into the base. It took me and my wife snatching on them to get them in place. It would have went a lot faster if I had help the entire time. Most parts of putting the shed are easy to do. You could even bring the parts inside your house and enjoy the a.c. while doing most of the prep work on the panels.

Purchased and put together right away on a new pad. One back panel didnt fit like the others which made the following steps for the roof install difficult. A few other parts of instructions were a bit non specific so we had to backtrack and undo/redo steps to adjust. Otherwise, quality appears durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shed was delivered a couple of weeks ago in good condition as expected. Overall quality is very good and the provided instructions and available video are very helpful. However, the trimming any excess material left from the manufacturing process makes it necessary to accomplish good parts alignment. Also labeling of the fastening screws should be more descriptive, i.e. types/sizes, and not just described three letters. I and my helper assembled the shed onto a proper concrete pad that is helpful too. Overall the Lifetime Shed is designed and made to last and we are very pleased. Thank you!

Happy with my shed so far, but the assembly was awful. There was a “convenient” video to go with it, but the steps in the video didn't match the manual. The guy in the video is also “easily” able to do several parts by himself, that I could not do by myself in the slightest. There are also several pieces that are made of really weak material, and broke right away. I'm having to makeshift a lot of parts for this shed. Plus, I came across multiple areas where I'm supposed to be able to drill right through, only the manufacturer didn't cut out all the holes; I could see several areas where the manufacturer didn't cut holes that were marked. I was also missing a few minor pieces of hardware. There were also several times where you have to drill you own holes into the various material. They at least give you a proper drill bit to do so, but I'm not sure why it could not come with some of those holes rebuilt.

My husband and I were super excited to purchase this and get everything out of our garage. Unfortunately the 3rd party delivery company not only did not delivery on the scheduled delivery date, but they also failed to update Sam's club as well as us. After 3 chats and a 2 phone calls I was provided with the tracking number so I could check on the delivery date. My husband and I started building the shed Sunday. After getting the walls installed on the floor we found that one of the parts was doubled rather then having a left and right. After 45 mins on hold with Lifetime (who is closed on the weekend) I learned that the part I need is on back order. So I have a partially built shed sitting in my backyard with a wait time of 2 - 3 weeks for the missing part. Not sure why they would name the parts GDU and GDV. Asking for trouble, because we got 2 GDV. Fingers crossed the shed survives Texas weather until we get the missing part....

Instructions along with the video are pretty good to follow. Instructions or video alone can be confusing. Very time consuming, annoying little things to put together that I felt should have been done at the factory in my opinion, but it eventually came together nicely. My product was missing the cotter pins for the doors, but I was able to improvise. Overall I am happy with the finished product. Just hoping it actually holds up in the wind.
