Wow, the power behind this blender is terrific, but the technology is what makes it exceptional. The wave shape of the bottom helps bring the liquids up to the blade rather than fall below and not get blended. The shape of the blade seems to make the biggest difference on the way food and ice are processed. It actually cuts thru it rather than mashing it. The thicker blades will last much longer and the winglets make the motion more efficient, giving many more years of use.

It is heavy, but also design minded and very sleek looking. Ran through a few of the pre-programmed setting and am very impressed. Also like the safety feature which prevents it from blending if the top is not on correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After almost 40 years it was time for a new blender and WOW! This is an amazing appliance with so many options as well as a powerful motor unlike anything I’ve had in the past. A big plus is that is is GORGEOUS on the countertop.

I will start out by saying that the design aesthetics of this are gorgeous. I had such high hopes, especially with the reputation of Zwilling behind it. Hower, the motor tends to spin without spinning the blades. They only catch if they are not encumbered by the frozen fruit you may be trying to blend. Which means preparing something as simple as a smoothie can be frustrating. You must use quite a bit of liquid for it to work. It also sounds like the motor is about to overheat by the time you get everything to the right consistency. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it is a far cry from the Vitamix I had previously.

You also have to have the kid entirely closed before the court trial even become available for use (and if that sounds confusing, it’s because it is). That said, the product is maybe a bit like a good sports car; you have to learn a thing or two to make it go, but once it does, it really does go.

It’s easy to clean, super efficient and effective at it’s tasks and again gorgeous to have on your countertop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I love this blender so much I find reasons to use it. It has a home on my counter with its sleek design. I am able to multi-task and trust Zwilling. Set to the mode (eg Smoothie) add my ingredients and secure lid. Now I can cook, answer phone or go to another room. Come back and the food (eg smoothie) is ready. It’s fresh in the airtight container. I pour and can refrigerate while I drink the first cup, again in full confidence I have optimal freshness. Next I add some water and a small drop of soap and put in cleaning mode. Leave, cook or answer door and come back and it’s finished and clean. Just pour out water and good to go. Love the various auto features and not too loud compared to other blenders.

I wanted something that wouldn’t be an eyesore when I have it out on my counter but didn’t want to compromise on functionality. This blender delivers!! As I grow older, though, I prefer softer food and loving warm soups more and more. I get to make my warm soups, smoothies for my kids and much more with minimal noise. It makes so soft and quite noise.
