How u can say its 144hz without DP cable ?

i brought the lg 24gm77 for my gaming cafe but i found that with out dp cable the moniter don't support 144zh as they give 1 dvi cable and a vga cable . why to buy extra for the 144hz where as i am paying more than double amount for normal moniter. i request you to provide me dp cable & plzz make sure that at least dp cable should be given in each moniter overall performance of monitor is good.

Amazing for gaming and great for all other media

Pros: - 240hz Refresh rate and compatible with both FreeSync and G-Sync. Something you have to experience with your own eyes to understand. - OSD Menu is easily navigable and has a simple and intuitive layout. Good colour setting options. - IPS panel has good colour reproduction and great viewing angles. No backlight bleeding. - Very crisp for a 1920x1080 display at 27” if you’re sitting at a fair distance from it (I'd recommend about 50cm as a minimum). - Good deep blacks and great contrast. - Small bezel nearly non-existent. - The coating on top of the panel that spreads over the bezels makes the display pop out. - Good amount of connectivity offering 1x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 (and 1x Up Stream) and 1x headphone jack. - Fairly good stand with quick-connect that doesn’t require tools to install. Cons: - Stand doesn’t allow swivel. Summary: Initially I was a bit sceptical about this monitor as it was 27” at full HD resolution. But I took the leap anyway and tried it out. I can only say that from the moment I turned it on I was not disappointed and, actually, was left amazed by it. I have it right by a 2K 27” display and I can’t tell the difference in resolution when I’m sitting ~50cm away. First of all, the way it’s built it makes it look like the image is popping out of the screen and makes me immerse myself better in what I’m watching. The colour reproduction is on par with a good IPS panel with rich colours, deep blacks and virtually no backlight bleeding. The box contains all you need to connect it to your PC so no need for additional accessories for a basic setup. It has great connectivity options with a few video inputs (2x HDMI 2 and 1x DP 1.4), 2x USB 3.0 outs and a headphone output. The stand isn’t the best out there, but it fits the necessary requirements. The design has subtle gaming accents, but it can easily pass in a business environment as it’s not overly stated. It’s not as flimsy as other reviews make it out to be (I don’t see how you would rock your display without touching it – unless your desk wobbles which means you should change your desk). The only gripe I have with it would be that you can’t swivel it, but that’s not a massive downside. I am using it with an AMD GPU and FreeSync works like a charm. It is G-Sync compatible if you do have a NVIDIA GPU. HDR10 is ok, but I’m not a great fan of it in general. I don’t play a lot of FPS games, but it works well with everything else regardless. All in all, I am very satisfied with the display and I will probably get a second one in the near future after I’ll change my desk to fit a third monitor. As it stands, I am using this one as my daily driver as it’s great with all types of media content.

Nice little find this one

Have been putting off buying this since Xmas, but finally took the plunge as I needed a higher resolution. Also keep it at 120Hz refresh rate, which is very smooth. Monitor doubles up as a HDTV and gaming monitor. Reckon I've got the best of both worlds, in so far as that's possible to combine two different outputs. Very happy with quality and price ..

Great monitor while it lasted

Great monitor that worked for 13 months, and just enough time to be out of warranty. Had bought it given a previous positive experience with LG, as well as features, and price, and it did not disappoint until it stopped working. Stopped working the other day, brought it to the repair center, and the main board needs replacing at a cost that is greater than what I paid for the monitor. Needless to say, I'll be looking for another brand as a replacement as this is my first experience of a monitor dying so soon after purchase and 1 month after the warranty expires.

Everything is great about but...

I really like this monitor but the power connector comes loose so much and my screen would shut off and sometimes would turn on again then you gotta play around with it until its securely in place (its time consuming by the way). Ive exchanged the first one due to this thinking that was defective and now im on my second one and still having the same problem. And one thing I also noticed is that other higher end models use the same power connector so while LG monitors are a really good product, I would recommend avoiding them due to this one problem trust me its SUPER ANNOYING!

Good for the price point

I bought this as a second monitor for Architecture work to sit above my 7 year old LG 7GL850 monitor. The two screens are the perfect match for each other asthetically. They look like identical monitors. Performance-wise my old monitor is still noticably sharper with with better colour but the 27GS60F-B is very good for the price point. As a second monitor I can switch between the two with ease, but I will continue using my old monitor for precise graphics work

Have absolutely no problems with this monitor, it works phenomenal and no problems whatsoever! However, i was wondering if anyone knew if this monitor is capable with speakers? I'm aware it doesnt have built in speakers, but i also realize theres no input fir speakers? just headphones... is there a way to use speakers? thanks.

144fps Fortnite? Easy!

My teenage son wanted a gaming PC and monitor capable of running Fortnite at 120fps. I bought this monitor about a month after the PC and it turns out the combo can easily manage 144fps all day long, much to his delight. It's a great looking monitor, works well, just bear in mind there's no speaker built in if that's something that matters to you.

dont think i will ever buy from LG again

I brought this item 70 days ago. I was happy thinking great! i got a bargain. the price seemed perfect. little did i know that i would soon be greated by a little friend. 70 days in i get a dead pixel. i think okay. maybe it would go. It stays. then i think okay. thats fine its a problem. i will be able to return this. then you read the warranty. you need 4 dead pixels to return this item, on top of that you pay shipping. I would say if you want a reliable monitor. this is not the choice. Get this if you need a second fast monitor. i dont think i will ever buy from LG again after this, which is a shame cause in the past i would have brought multiple of their products and even reccomended this monitor to someone who needed a new cheap monitor. just remember this is 70 days down

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read of the issues you have reported, as with most modern LCD/OLED displays there is tolerances for dead pixels, LG operates favorably in its tolerances compared to other manufacturers.
