The rice came out perfectly steamed and the texture was delicious. This is a pretty compact size that can fit in the smallest of kitchens. The color and design are modern. It includes a rice paddle and plastic measuring cup. There is a large push button in the center to open the lid. I can't wait to make more rice and grain dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I say this GreenPan Bistro 8-Cup Carb-Reducing Rice Cooker is easy to use, I truly mean it. We've already used it three times since it arrived, and each time we've been more impressed. The rice comes out perfectly cooked every single time no guesswork at all. It was very easy to set up out of the box and it comes with a spatula which I love and is very durable as well as a measuring cup which is perfect to figure out portions. This is officially the only way we'll be making rice from now on. I love how user-friendly it is and how many settings it offers, which makes it versatile for different types of rice and meals. It's also a great size for our family of four and easily feeds all of us without any issues. On top of that, the price point is very reasonable for what you're getting. This rice cooker has quickly become a staple in our home, and I highly recommend it.

The instructions were a tad bit confusing, but I was able to get to where I wanted. It is a decent size for a single person or a small family. I only did 1 cup of rice, but it looks like it can hold a good amount. The power is good and I believe it is of good value.

Expensive for what you get. Deceptive advertising, states 8 cup rice and grain cooker, inside container is small and is labeled to 4 cups. Can only cook 1 1/2 cups of rice when using "Carb reducing technology". Interface has issues with "start" button not activating when depressed, normally need to press 5 to 8 times. Wish we never bought it. Do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started keto almost two months ago, so I was so happy to get this. It was easy to use with the exception of some of the buttons not working. It took a couple tries before it would work. Otherwise, my rice was cooked to perfection.

We use it daily and it cooks the rice to perfection and is easy to use and clean! The only thing that took time getting used too was the timer settings but once you get the hang of it, it's invaluable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this rice cooker! Rice has always been one dish that's a little iffy for me, always coming out too hard or too mushy. This rice cooker makes it easy to get perfectly cooked rice! It's quick and easy to set up and I love all of the features, especially the carb reducer feature. It's also super easy to clean which makes after dinner clean up a breeze. It's not too noisy and has worked well every time I've used it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super happy to be able to try it, but was slightly disappointed. My biggest tiff was the hole where the steam comes out. At one point it started spilling over and I followed the instructions to the t. The assembly was easy and I like the size.

I bought this because it makes low carb rice, since I am trying to cut down on carbs I only cook a small amount of rice. It works good when you cook 1 1/2 cups (which makes over 4 cups), the top tray fills with water/starch and the rice is good. This is way more rice than we need when trying to cut down on carbs, tried to cook 1/2 the rice, 1/2 the water and it doesn't work, there is no starch/water in the top tray. Disappointed that I have to cook the full amount each time and waste a bunch of rice that we can't eat. Also disappointed in the steam tray for cooking vegetables, it will steam vegetables in the top tray, but you can't put enough in that tray for a meal, and I want my veggies steamed, not cooked in water. So, for me it is not what I wanted or expected and I did check all of these things out before buying. I asked it if can steam vegetables etc. Might be okay for a large family that wants a full pot of rice that DOES NOT have to eat less rice and wants low carb (which is what this is supposed to do in the first place). I bought it for the low carb function, but all the low carb is lost if I eat twice the amount of rice.
