It's beautiful, bakes bread perfectly!

I bought this bread oven a few months ago. I've baked about 16 loaves of bread in it since then. I always bake at 475f convection oven. Not one chip or stain. No hot spots. I never have to rotate the pan. Every time I take the lid off to brown the the crust, I smile with amazement at how beautiful every loaf is. Its a 10 out of 10 for me. I want to buy more as gifts for my sourdough baking friends.

Love this!

I have baked dozens of loaves of sourdough bread since purchasing this oven. Temperatures as high as 500 degrees don't seem to be a problem and I normally bake at 475 without trouble. The interior does stain after use; if that bothers you, I'm sure Barkeeper's Friend would clean it up. This is a much better deal than the Le Creuset version that costs $300.

Beautiful Bread Pan for Rustic Bread

First of all the pretty pink enamel is stunning. Such a pretty piece of cookware that I leave out for people to see in my kitchen. I've already baked 3 loaves / rustic bread in this Bread Oven. It does exactly what it is intended to do. The bread comes out beautiful each time. I highly recommend to not use any oil in the pan since the bread has to be baked on high heat. I also use parchment paper for ease of transferring bread dough to the pan. All in all, this is a great pan to have if you are serious about baking bread!

Beautiful, sturdy, great value product!

I received this bread oven in the color pink. The color is beautiful and the product is of substantial weight and feels very sturdy! I've never used a cast iron bread oven before so don't have anything to compare it to, but bread certainly comes out better using this than a regular bread pan. Very excited to try more baking experiments with this.

Beautiful color- multiple uses

This cast iron bread oven is a great addition to my kitchen! Its heavy quality cast iron is perfect for baking my sourdough bread at home. Ive gone as far to use it on the stove top without the top of course for toasting small pieces of bread and my mini zero calorie tortillas. The color is beautiful and nice pop in my kitchen cabinet - i also LOVE the gold handle! You cant go wrong with this essential bakeware addition !

Sourdough Bread Baking

Nice looking. Convenient handle. However, description says temps to 450. Not great for sourdough as most recipes require an hour preheat at 500 degrees F. The white will darken and time will tell if the enamel actually holds up. Also, oddly, the distribution of heat after initial covered bake shows uneven browning forcing me to rotate the pan and losing heat even after trying convection to resolve this issue. Going back to my trusted Lodge cast iron as it tolerates higher heat and browning is consistent without having to rotate. Just doesn't have a nice handle on the top.

Beautiful, but has developed a couple of lid chips

I love the color-it's beautiful. I love the function, and the fact that it's not nearly as heavy as the Dutch oven I was using for my Artisan bread before I bought this. What I am worried about is that a couple of chips have developed in the lid in two spots. One is fairly large, one is small, but I'm worried they'll get larger over time and make the cloche unusable. I'm very careful with it, I only hand wash with a sponge, and I've also only used it maybe 8 or 10 times. I want to buy a second one as there have been a couple of times when I made two loaves at the same time and have had to wait for the first loaf to be baked, the cloche to fully cool, then I had to wash it and then finally bake the second loaf, but I'm not sure if this chip issue happens a lot or if this is just a total fluke, so am hesitant to buy another one. I tried every which way possible to add a photo, but the site won't allow it for some reason, even though it's well within the max size, etc.

Great product!

I got this right before Christmas and decided to make sourdough bread. Easy to use, it turned out pretty good for a beginner. Product is heavy duty. Pink was my color. Recommended to my family and they purchased. Would recommend if you want to start baking ur own breads.

Great Bread Oven for the Price

It heats super evenly and helps get a nice crusty exterior on my loaves — almost like a real brick oven right at home. The porcelain enamel inside makes cleanup way easier than traditional cast iron, and the snug lid traps steam perfectly, which really boosts the rise. It’s a solid piece that feels durable and works exactly how I hoped. At the price point, it’s tough to beat if you love baking bread.
