I have never baked bread in my life but decided to give it a shot. There is a viral cheese bread recipe that I wanted to try and since this was on sale, I went ahead and purchased it. My husband kept asking me over and over again, you didn't use a package for this? No, no I did not. I made it from scratch with my own two hands! I never have to worry about the shape of the bread I'm making or how it's going to turn out with this fabulous Dutch oven. I also purchased the seven quart Dutch oven, from the same series also in cranberry and gold, and made him some cioppino (seafood soup) to go with the crispy garlic cheese bread. HE WENT CRAZY!! I have made so many wonderful dishes (including the fabulous potato leek soup pictured below) thanks to these two beautiful Dutch ovens. They are gorgeous, elegant, easy to use and clean up very well. I can't wait to make more recipes!!

Perfect for making bread.

I was a little unsure about this product. I am new to bread making and I was worried it would burn the bread but i was very impressed. It was an even cook the bottom didnt burn. It was a little tough to cut on bottom when cutting but over-all i am glad i purchased this product. I also used the bottom portion to cook meal with its a nice size pan.

It’s amazing! The perfect bread oven! When I bake sourdough, I preheat it for 15–20 minutes, and the bread is fully baked in just 25 minutes. I leave it covered, then uncover it for the last 5 minutes to get a beautiful dark golden color. I’m so happy I found this at Sam’s Club for such a reasonable price!

Beautiful dark burgandy color. Not as heavy as my regular cast iron which makes it easier on my back since my oven is so low to the floor. Bakes great sourdough.

I love the bread baker. I have used a Dutch oven for many years for bread. Reaching inside of a hot Dutch oven to remove or place bread is precarious. Many burned fingers. This design makes it much easier to remove or place bread.

This is the bomb! My husband purchased this for me and we love the bread that came out of it! I hope they will eventually bring out a loaf oven!

This Baker is beautiful and perfect for sourdough! It is versatile and big enough to bake a whole chicken as well.

Not a Le-creuset quality, enamel is chipping at bottom of edge of lid already, heavy construction, poor finish.

Absolutely thrilled with this bread oven. Extremely well made, heavy duty and effective! Made my first loaf of rustic bread and was very pleased with results. I made a half recipe smaller loaf as a test and I will definitely be making full loaves going forward. Please note - the instructions say not to use dry - I lightly coated inside of bottom only with olive oil - did not impact my bread at all. And, the price cannot be beat!
