I had some bananas delivered to my home. They were very green so I let them sit out for a while. For some reason they were taking a long time to turn yellow. I thought I would give them a try while they were still green. They were the best bananas I have ever had!! I hope I can get some more like that. I would like to thank the shopper for picking out some amazing bananas for me.

I had a pickup order on Wednesday and needed to be able to eat the bananas on Saturday, and they were still solidly green. There needs to be an option for selecting how ripe they are. Like, all green, half green, ready to eat today. I appreciate wanting them to be as fresh as possible, but sometimes they are too green.

It's been three days and my bananas haven't ripened. It looks like they have freezer damage. I would think you would get that in the wintertime, but it is June. I don't think they will. It seems useless. Maybe, they picked them really green and rely on gas. Food labeling laws don't require them to tell us anything or the store clerks. You pay more for a health food store, but the Clerks there have answers about your food.

I was kind of turned away at first.....cause the bananas are so green! LOL....and when I buy bananas I like to eat one that same day! LOL....but don't like the "chalky taste" of a green banana.....but I've learned to stock up when the batch starts dwindling in my fruit bowl so I always have some on hand.......one thing I noticed is that they do ripen FAST! Sometimes faster than others......so I typically split them apart from the bunch and keep them all seperate.....wrap the ends of each banana in plastic wrap. They seem to keep longer this way.....if they start getting too brown, I'l throw them into a plastic bag and into the freeezer for my post-workout protein shake ;) Sam's has got the best price for bananas in my town ;)

Decided to take a chance and had these delivered with some other items I got a solid green batch and they never ripened, stayed green for 6 days at which point they started to have an alcohol sort of odor and I disposed of them Seems to be a recurring thing when I get Dole bananas from Sam's so never again

I ordered through grocery pickup and received 2 bunches of bananas that were so badly bruised and battered.That two had to be immediately thrown away and the rest had to be eaten within a couple of days. This is not the quality of product that any sane human being would pick out because of how quickly they spoiled. I should have been asked if this was acceptable instead of getting home to find two almost spoiled bunches of bananas that only bruised further because of how they packed the boxes.

As a local small business owner with limited storage space & high volume product, it is certainly nice & reassuring to have the Sams Club team put in the extra effort in assisting me with my order. Love the app, the email notifications & the great customer service that management provides. Keep up the great work! Steve

I've never seen a bunch of these bananas yellow like in the photo. They're almost always VERY green on day of purchase. Most of the time they kind of turn sort of yellow, but never solid yellow; there's always a fair amount of green left, even when they have brown "I'm ripe" spots. They're usually not ripe enough to each on the day of purchase, but are quite edible 2-3 days later, and are very good to eat 4-6 days after purchase, even though they still look green, and may even seem to have bruises, but those bruises almost never reach the banana flesh.

SAM'S CLUB 3RD PARTY SHOPPING AND DELIVERY SERVICE IN OUR AREA IS TERRIBLE! I HAVE HAD REPEATED DELIVERY ISSUES, AND NO ONE HERE AT OUR LOCAL SAM'S CLUB, OR AT SAM'S CLUB ONLINE, KNOWS HOW TO CONTACT THEIR 3RD PARTY SHOPPING AND DELIVERY SERVICE! THE SHOPPING AND DELIVERY SERVICE WANTS YOU TO TIP THEIR SHOPPERS WHEN YOU CHECK OUT ONLINE, BEFORE YOUR ORDER IS SHOPPED AND DELIVERED. IT'S LIKE EXPECTING YOU TO TIP YOUR WAITER FOR YOUR FOOD BEFORE IT IS SERVED TO YOU. THERE IS NO WAY TO CHANGE YOUR TIP TO THE DELIVERY PERSON ONCE YOU ENTER IT AT THE ONLINE CHECKOUT, EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS ONLINE YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR TIP IF YOU HAVE DELIVERY ISSUES.

I purchased these and with a day they began to turn brown never actually rippened.
