Sam’s is the best place to buy you bananas. Everywhere else is more expensive. The bananas at Sam’s may be a little blemished- they aren’t perfect. They are like people when they age, age spots, dings and some gashes but still perfectly fine and beautiful on the inside.

I'm no expert on bananas, but we've been buying these for years and have never been disappointed. I bought a case last year so my daughter could bake her famous banana bread for Christmas, and about 50 loaves later, we STILL had bananas to give! They are a good size (not the mini ones you often see), and we like the fact that we can get green ones that take a little time to ripen. My husband brings one to work with his cereal every day, so we appreciate the great value!

I don't see the option to request green bananas without blemishes, so I only order bananas on the app when I am feeding a crowd the next day. Otherwise, I will be making banana bread and frozen banana bites to last us for the next 2 weeks. Not bad in the summertime, but when school is back in session, I don't want to be forced to triage overripe bananas!

I usually have at least a banana for breakfast. I usually make a fruit smoothie with several different fruits. The trick is purchasing bananas that don't deteriorate too quickly. Sometimes no matter where purchased I find that they ripen almost overnight & then I'm stuck with throw away fruit. I have found that I can freeze bananas. I peel & wrapped each banana with was paper then put in a freeze quart bag. I usually make a smoothie so a frozen banana will work. I haven't tried taking the frozen bananas to make a puree & then using them to make banana nut bread but I think that would work also.

Dole Bananas from Sam's Club are always the best bananas I eat. I don't know what it is, but they always taste fresher when I get them from Sam's Club. They come in a 3-pound package. They are great to eat on their own or to back with. Either way they always taste fresh!

Eww. These were green green. We thought that would be ok and we’ll just wait until they yellow up a bit. They never did. They got this weird color and then looked like they were beaten. They weren’t too gross on the inside but definitely not good bananas

Love them or not! Texture is the nixer for this snack -- it can be squishy soft, slippery or firm, chewy and lushioushly delicious depending on its degree of ripeness. I like them a little green - easier on the body's systems!!! Enjoy alone, in any kind of salad, cooked or as an ingredient in a pastry or baked item!!!

Context: I buy bananas every week. This specific batch did not ripen well. They never really turned yellow; they essentially went from green to mostly brown within a couple days. I wound up using them for banana bread, so they wouldn't go to waste. Not sure if this bunch was just an anomaly or got banged up before my shopping cart?

These bananas were just right! They arrived fresh, with a nice yellow color and just the right level of ripeness. Perfect for snacking, adding to cereal, or blending into smoothies. No bruises or overripeness—just good quality bananas. I’d definitely buy them again!

Dole bananas from SAMs seem to always be the freshest bananas anywhere around. I have been known to walk in SAMs and buy nothing but bananas. (I use Scan & Go.) I have noticed at some stores, the banana peelings do not look clean. These at SAMS are perfection! They make the best banana bread and banana pudding out there!
