This review is bananas

A review of bananas, that’s bananas. Love the price and always fresh. Not much more to say. I’d like to have a sticker on the bananas like the grapes you are selling with the picture and QR code if the farm hand that picked these. I thought that was fun. Sometimes people forget all the hard work that goes into getting food farm to table.

Dole bananas - the best

Dole bananas from SAMs seem to always be the freshest bananas anywhere around. I have been known to walk in SAMs and buy nothing but bananas. (I use Scan & Go.) I have noticed at some stores, the banana peelings do not look clean. These at SAMS are perfection! They make the best banana bread and banana pudding out there!

Bananas 🍌🍌

Love them or not! Texture is the nixer for this snack -- it can be squishy soft, slippery or firm, chewy and lushioushly delicious depending on its degree of ripeness. I like them a little green - easier on the body's systems!!! Enjoy alone, in any kind of salad, cooked or as an ingredient in a pastry or baked item!!!

Don’t judge a book by its cover

Sam’s is the best place to buy you bananas. Everywhere else is more expensive. The bananas at Sam’s may be a little blemished- they aren’t perfect. They are like people when they age, age spots, dings and some gashes but still perfectly fine and beautiful on the inside.

The FRESHEST bananas at a great price!

THE best value for bananas anywhere! We always grab a bunch or two of these bananas each time we visit Sam’s Club. They are NEVER bruised, and I think that the best thing about them is that they’re never overripe, they are sold with plenty of green left on them, so that I can count on them to always last around a week. Plus, the price is unbeatable. We never miss the chance to get our bananas from Sam’s Club!

Yuck!

Thin batter and oily. This is not Mrs. Field’s recipe or cookies. Please don’t waste your money or time. Anyone could make a better batter than this. It’s so disappointing and they’re asking 9.99 a tub for it. No way. My family was excited, but when we baked. The cookies don’t rise at all. They spread out thin and have gobs of oil in the center and not a very good flavor. It all taste artificial.

The Potassium Posse That Packs a Punch (Sometimes)

These Sams Club bananas, let's just say they're a mixed peel. One bunch might have you swinging from the chandeliers with their sunshiney sweetness, while the next could leave you in a full-on monkey pout with their mushy misfortune. It's a jungle in that produce aisle, folks. The Good: Bulk-a-licious: You get enough potassium to fuel a gorilla army, or at least your morning smoothie obsession. Price-tastic: Your wallet will do a happy dance compared to those overpriced grocery store singles. Ripeness Roulette: It's like a tropical treasure hunt! Will you unearth perfectly golden gems, or find mushy brown landmines? The thrill is real. The Not-So-Good: Inconsistent Bunch Bunch: You never quite know what you're gonna get. Green grenades? Spotted retirees? It's a banana lottery, my friends. Bruise City: These guys have seen some things. Travel bumps, fridge fumbles, the occasional rogue shopping cart – their skin tells the tale. The Great Peel-Off: Sometimes, peeling these suckers feels like defusing a bomb. One wrong move and you're covered in banana goo. Not the festive look you were going for. Overall: Sams Club bananas: a gamble with a potentially delicious payoff. If you're feeling adventurous (and have plenty of potassium-deficient friends), grab a bunch. Just remember, entering the jungle comes with risks. You might end up with the ripest bunch this side of the equator, or you might need to channel your inner Jane Goodall to salvage something edible. It's all part of the Sams Club banana charm, wouldn't you say?

Pretty green bananas before they ripen

Usually purchase 2 sets of bananas, they usually ripen well I'm eating one set that I choose a little more yellow. The other set is more green waiting to ripen. This time while I ate the first set the second set ripened too quickly. Great for bread pudding or something to be cooked.

Good quality and great buy!

It’s pretty hard for us to finish these before they get somewhat soft because there is only two of us however they are good flavored bananas and very easy to use and the last couple in banana bread, or cake or waffles etc. etc. pretty easy to find the degree of rightness that you prefer. We always buy our bananas on the green side. This is a great buy especially for families who likely can finish the entire bunch before they soft. Bananas are very easy to freeze and use later as well .

Not good as an order you pick up at the door.

I have been disappointed with the last 2 purchases of bananas for pick up service. The time before last, the bananas were so green they NEVER ripened. They just got brown spots and became mushy. Threw them away. The last time they got a little more ripe but still a big disappointment. Don't think I will try these again unless I pick them out for myself.
