I guess when you use the online shopping you get what you get. My bananas where green. It took days for them to turn yellow which indicates that they are ready to eat. Well soon as they turned yellow they turned brown and became mush. Neverver will I buy bananas online. I will pick my own bunch.

The bunch of bananas I received was extremely green. I had hoped the would ripen given a few days, but they did not. They stayed green, and rotted. They were never edible. I couldn’t even use them for banana bread because they never developed flavor.

Good value for the money and they are not overripe or rejects. I just read that bananas are not a fruit but are a berry. If you believe that then you may believe that raspberries, blackberries . . . are NOT really berries. I am not rocking the boat any further and I am not certain why I am giving a review on bananas. Who can knock bananas!

I have walking issues where I can't do a lot of walking and lifting. So I try to do my shopping on line and then just pick them up. The employees of Sam's Club have always pick a great bunch of bananas this last batch was awesome. they were just they way my husband loves them with very little bruising.

Usually purchase 2 sets of bananas, they usually ripen well I'm eating one set that I choose a little more yellow. The other set is more green waiting to ripen. This time while I ate the first set the second set ripened too quickly. Great for bread pudding or something to be cooked.

I buy 2 bunches of bananas at the same time, one with just a little green on it and one that is almost entirely green. I take them home and put them in banana bags in the refrigerator. I eat one every day and each is always in the perfect stage of ripeness when I eat it.

I like one banana every now and then. So why buy a big bunch? I also like "smoothies", so the bananas are cut in discs, placed on Parchment paper placed on a cookie sheet, placed in the freezer over-night, placed in zip-lock bags, and I am ready for several days of Banana-Blueberry smoothies! I am a "Happy-Camper"!

The bananas selection at my Sams Clib is hit or miss with some days nothing but green bananas and other days nearly rotten bananas. This inconsistency cost them sales because I look at the banana every time I go to the local Sams club! I buy about 50% of the time I look!
