Excellent value foe quality bananas

Bananas arent as green as majority of other stores. Decent sized bunches. I put them in a dark cupboard to slow down ripening and bring out a day or two before i need them.

Green to Brown with little yellow

These guys went from green to brown and spotty, with not much "yellow" in between. Kinda annoying. They still tasted pretty good and since I mostly put them in oatmeal it was OK, just be aware.

Best bananas in town

Sam's Club is the perfect place to buy fruit. Their bananas are huge, green and no bruises. I prefer green because that gives us time to let them ripen and eat at our own pace.

Where have all the Good Ones gone!?!

Recently banana purchases have been rather disappointing. They're All green, and usually that would be no problem. However, they now go from green to brown in 4 seconds flat it seems. There's been no new routine of storing them, so I'm a little baffled.

Sam’s Club food quality is horrible.

Sam’s Club employees who picked my online order really just didn’t care about the quality of the product they chose. The bananas looked absolutely horrible, and look like they will be expired by tomorrow. I take care of my husband who’s a cancer patient and I can’t leave him alone and go shopping, so I depend on online shopping. But Ive wasted so much money this year with Sam’s because of their lack of service and quality.

Too Soft Too Soon

I broke my own rule to never buy bananas from Sam's Club, and I did it anyway and sure enough within days they are all soft, spotty and more ripe than if I get them elsewhere. I intentionally buy the furthest and most green to avoid this from any store, but there's something about Sam's Club bananas that they just turn into mush sooner than others

Can't stand that we can only buy green bananas at

I have complained already about this Sam's location, picking up all of the yellow bananas and only putting out green bananas. I'm always trying to find the yellowest bananas and sometimes it's impossible. There are other people there also trying to find yellow bananas and complaining that all we can ever get or green bananas. If I can't find some that are pretty yellow, then I will not buy them from Sam's. I will go to another grocery store and buy them.

How to Keep Your Bananas from Browning too Soon

Bananas are a quick snack and a great source of potassium. Sometimes they brown too quickly and then they become a delicious banana bread. I discovered an easy way to keep the bananas from browning too quickly. I remove the sticky band surrounding the bananas and wrap it tightly around the stem (not the black tip). Try it, it works!

Just So-So Bananas

Bananas are green when delivered but ripen very quickly. Previous bruises show up as well as ripening spots and usually rotting from the blossom end. They go from green to unusable in just a few days. Typically we are only able to use about half of each bunch. Will likely stop purchasing these.

Green to Uneatable within 3 days

Very surprised that these get as good a rating as they do. They were mostly green when I bought them and then within 3 days were mostly too bruised to eat. I only run into this problem with Dole brand. Will end up throwing away more than half the bunch. You should never eat banana bruises.......it is bacteria and not good for you.
