Sams bananas rots easily..and gets really dark blotchy in a day or two have bought it multiple times diff times just to experiment or give it another chance but no luck ..member since 90’s and same banana situation

Not happy at all with bananas. They were are bruised, dark and soft. Out of the batch of 7 large bananas I only retrieved 1/2 of a banana and it was not good. Thumbs down on this purchase. I have photos but this app won’t allow me to post them.

I so wish I could attach a picture. Purchased these bananas on Thursday. I picked through several bunches to make sure they had a little green to them since I wasn't planning to eat all immediately, of course. Got home & decided to eat one. Could feel a soft spot through peel. Peeled it, and a large area was rotten. Checked others, and 4 more were like this. They aren't long bananas to begin with, so to have a large area rotten, made most of the banana inedible. Waste!

Usually Sam's club organic bananas are the best (organic bananas are supposed to be green because they don't get sprayed with the chemical that turns bananas yellow). The Dole ones they have in stock right now are full of fruit flies. I put them back.

As a local small business owner with limited storage space & high volume product, it is certainly nice & reassuring to have the Sams Club team put in the extra effort in assisting me with my order. This is not so. I do not like bananas. But I do add them into our nutritional shakes that I make for my husband and I every morning. These are a great value and I buy them every week. I do go to a produce market weekly but I always pick these and a few other staples from the produce area at Sam's due to their quality and value.

I had a pickup order on Wednesday and needed to be able to eat the bananas on Saturday, and they were still solidly green. There needs to be an option for selecting how ripe they are. Like, all green, half green, ready to eat today. I appreciate wanting them to be as fresh as possible, but sometimes they are too green.

Look gorgeous on the outside but rot from the inside out, they start green, which I don't mind but you cant see the bruising. The last five of the six visits to SAM's we were barely able to salvage two bananas out of the bunch. This sixth time they were good. You better be ready to eat them in two days cause they ripen fast, you'll have to make muffins unless they start rotting bad.

I am sure it's a storage issue with Sam's, but every time I buy bananas there they are covered with brown spots the very next day. I only buy them green, as we like them just as they begin to yellow. Sam's bananas go from green directly to brown, never yellow. It does not happen when I buy from other stores, so I'm guessing it's how they store them. They do have a great price, but they all go to bread and can't be eaten.

These bananas are always okay. Sam's club sells so much variety of fruits and vegetables I wish they would start getting in the miniature bananas. I'm honestly getting tired of these kind lol. There's so many varieties out there. I think we should switch it up a little bit.
