Alwasy complimented. I was recently asked by an older gentlemen in public I know this may seem a weird man to man, but what is the scent youre wearing? I told him it was Dossier Woody Sandalwood and he asked were can I get some? He ordered it on his phone immediately.

Very nice subtle scent that does smell a lot about the brand it is copying. However, the scent disappears on you. There is only the slightest tone of fragrance on you. Some people have suggested Carrier oils, but I think for the price I could go through the entire bottle faster than I would go through a bottle of the real thing

I know people want to know what it smells like- and i cant put my finger on what it smells like, all I can comment is how many compliments I get when wearing this. I have been using it as an everyday perfume here in Wisconsin the fall and I love it. Its not too strong, but the scent still lasts all day for me.

First of all I adore Sandalwood, but I found this product repulsive. I tried and tried and tried to like this fragrance for several weeks and just cant get passed the overwhelming pickle sent as I spray it. . It lingers on my body and is disgusting. When it finally dissipates NO sandalwood remains. I should have read more of 1 & 2 star reviews, I just noticed others reporting a pickle scent. So strange. Sadly I will be returning it. ( Nemat sandalwood oil has been my choice for YEARS, it is getting harder to find)

Writing this not to criticize the scent: its one of the sexiest scents I've ever smelled and I would wear it 24/7 if I was able to. Unfortunately the perfume broke me out in pretty severe hives on my neck and I'm very sad. If you can tolerate the formula, the fragrance is amazing and lasts pretty long!

I have both Woody Sandalwood and Santal 33, and I don't believe too many people would be able to tell them apart after the first 45 minutes. In the opening, Le Labo's fragrance has a black pepper note that I don't get with Woody Sandalwood. Both have a floral, violet-iris accord, but it's more prominent in the opening of Santal 33. It leans it slightly more feminine than Dossier's because of it, though both are clearly unisex fragrances. I prefer Woody Sandalwood. It gets to the drydown faster. That's where both smell the best. . and identical. Santal 33 is an EDP, so it lasts an hour longer. I get 6 hours with it and 5 with Woody Sandalwood. 10/10.

I've gotten a few compliments now after wearing this. I liked it on my initial smelling, but was not 100%. After wearing it for a week, I find myself liking it more and more. It is not overwhelmingly strong. Even when I think the scent has faded away, others can still notice it.

I just LOVE this scent so very much! Not nearly as heavy as straight sandalwood oil so it's perfect for spring, summer, and early fall. I love the lightness but still-present sandalwood that's mixed with a deep forest woodiness. Also, to me, a hint is sea saltiness. I could sit and smell this all day.

As a Le Labo obsessive (from a distance. Because $$$$), this was my gateway to Dosser, so I'll give it that. Unfortunately, while the scent in the air is amazing, the scent on my skin is. . . moldy somehow? This scent led me to try a few others I LOVE, but this one isn't for me.
