I want to preface this by saying I've not smelled the original 'Santal 33' but based on all of the positive things I've heard, I figured I'd try this out. It's such a hard fragrance to describe and doesn't necessarily smell bad, however I don't think it smells great either. It's really warm and extremely spicy. It smells like the inside of my pantry with notes of spearmint. I'm going to try it out a couple more times but I feel like I'll be sending it back.

The inspiration is so recognizable and this take on it is great. It has really good staying power even on hot days. With how much I want to smell this I am happy to have an affordable option. Legit have used it as a room spray. I have worn it and the crossbody that I wore that day retains the scent days later. Will be reordering for sure.

Im beginning to understand the hype with the inspiration of this scent. The longevity was great for me, lasted through my whole work day, and received two compliments on the scent. Projection is great when first applied but I really like the drydown, not too overpowering. I see why people recommend it for fall but Im in the middle of summer and loving this. I can see myself repurchasing this in the future when I run out. Of the 5 I bought this was in my personal top 2 faves from Dossier so far.

This is my favorite fragrance right now. I own about 10 scents right now, including some bigger ticket brands, but this one is what I find myself using daily. It is slightly alcoholic to my nose when I first apply it, but as it dries down it turns into a woody sweet aroma that I cannot get over. Performance is almost all day. Highly recommend!

This perfume smells like money, not the real paper currency which can smell pretty rank, but the concept of what someone who owns a yacht would wear! It is hands down my favorite scent, and Ive received enough compliments to make me blushif I were prone to that sort of thing. Thank you for making an outrageously expensive perfume at a discount store price!!

I recently moved to Chicago from NYC. I love Santal 33 and everybody used it in Brooklyn but I didnt care because the smell is so invigorating. Dossier is a game changer. When I found out they had it at a fraction of the price I was on top of it. Im Chicago people arent so affluent with smells and I get compliments all the time. Dossier Woody Sandalwood is A+ 100%

I had never smelled Le Labo's Santal 33 myself, but knew it as being a very desirable perfume. I decided to go for it, and wore it to a friend's house. As soon as I walked in her house she asked me "what perfume are you wearing?" I explained it was a Dossier dupe of this elusive Santal 33 perfume, and she was like "I knew it! My other friend wears Santal 33 so I knew I recognized that scent." The fact that my friend immediately thought this scent was the real perfume it's inspired by 1000% reaffirms my confidence in Dossier's ability to match scents exactly!

This scent smells absolutely disgusting. I tried to convince myself to like it because it was an exchange and I cant return it, but my family refused to let me leave the house with it on. It smells like dirt, and nothing like Santal 33. This is my second purchase from you and the second purchase I was unhappy with. They smell nothing like the name brands they claim to be dupes for, and I am done doing business with you. This scent especially is really really bad. I cant even regift it because it literally reaks. I wouldnt give this to anyone I remotely liked.

I love Woody Sandalwood. It's my favorite. The scent is just wonderful from the top notes to the base notes. I've had so many compliments on this scent. Next order will be this scent in a larger bottle. I wear it everyday too. It's so nice. The scent is not overwhelming. It's just nice. I love it so much.
