I really wanted to like this, people rave about LeLabo Santal, and I should have liked it- I love woody and masculine scents. But this wasn't it. No idea why, but I couldn't like this one, and I tried. It lingers and has a nice bottle like all the rest, but the scent just wasn't right for me and I sent it back.

I'm a big fan of smokey/woody smells, and honestly I'm a sucker for almost anything that has sandalwood in it, so when I read the name of this fragrance, I didn't even have to think about it twice! And it smells EXACTLY like what I wanna smell like 24/7, it's smokey, yet a bit sweet, and the longer I have it on, the better it mixes in with my body chemistry!

I was looking forward to receiving this fragrance-however it was a bit disappointing as it was way too sweet smelling for woody sandalwood. I really didnt smell the fragrance of sandalwood at all. I wound up giving it to my daughter.Disappointed-sorry.

I would definitely give this a try. It is very similar to the lelabo santal. I'm glad I got 2 bottles. Where the one inspired by TF Oud wood was NOTHING like the original, this one is very close that I would guess most people would think it's the real deal. I have the santal and I use this one for everyday use and save the real deal for special occasions.

The scent is on par with the OG Le Labo, however the scent briefly lingers and eventually dissipates. If you are tight on your budget, its a great option, however next time, I will probably spring for the original as you do not need a lot and it last for years. I do appreciate the budget option though.

this was a blind buy for me -- I had never smelled the original. This does smell really nice and has great sillage/longevity. sometimes when I first spray it I notice a harsh almost pickle-y scent that I don't love but I've seen people mention that with the original scent too so it may just be a skin chemistry issue. definitely a genderless scent-- my husband has worn it too.

This is a nice fragrance, but I wouldn't categorize it as "unisex" at all. It smells VERY masculine to me. I love gender bending fragrances, but I think this one is just all male. (Which is fine, just want people to expect that. I was expecting something a little softer and gender neutral than this fragrance, so I was disappointed.) I kept it and may use it as a room spray or something.

One of my favorites, it smells just like the original. This is the perfume I have gotten the most compliments on and it truly lasts all day. At first it kind of smells like pickles to me, but in a not bad way- and then it settles and it smells really good. It truly is one of Dossier's best dupes.

Love this scent so much! Its strong so a little goes a long way but I get compliments all the time on this. More than any other fragrance Ive ever worn. I like thats its earthy and a little mysterious but still sexy. Definitely try this if you want something different and special

Im sold on Dossier! I have to wear clean gluten free fragrances due to Autoimmune illness. Usually these kinds of fragrances dont last long...but Dossier does! The Woody Sandalwood is a Fall vibe. Its exactly what I was hoping for, true to the description. Thank you Dossier, I will be purchasing again!
