We'll keep it short and sweet. Dossier did a great job. There's no indicator out there that shows how this fragrance is 'close' to how SANTAL 33 smells like. The only way to tell the difference is IF YOU OWN Le Labo Santal 33. As for me, I have Le Labo Santal 33 and Dossier's inspiration comes real close to Le Labo Santal 33. I say real close for the sake of downplaying my experience with Woody Sandalwood. No sense hyping it up knowing I possess both Dossier and Le Labo's products.

I have a sensitive schnoz. Most perfumes and colognes are pungent, loud, smell too strongly of alcohol to get past it. This scent is perfection. Warm, woody, and wraps you in a hug thats reminiscent of essential oils without the slick feeling. Seriously. Buy this. Youll want to spritz it on your naked body, on your sheets, in your car. It took me 37 years to find my scent and its this! Thanks, Dossier!

Wow, Wow, Wow. I visited this hotel in New Orleans once and they used Santal 33 air fresheners, and immediately when I smelled this perfume/cologne, It smelled just like the hotel. I have had many compliments so far and know others who I have urged to buy this cologne.

This smells so yummy and exactly like the original. The only small complaint I have is that the staying power isnt quite as good as the original. Since this purchase Ive purchased four other scents. Im very impressed with the overall quality other the product.

I'll be honest I never tried the original so I don't know what it's supposed to smell like but the notes and reviews all seemed so good, I had to give it a try! I mean what could go wrong with a blind buy lol . Unfortunately it was a no for me. The notes are quite strong and after awhile gave me a slight headache. On initial spray it did have a very strong alcohol front but by the time it dried down it left a strong musk scent. Even after washing with soap the scent lingered on the body. It's one of those "if it's not you, then it's not for you" kind of scents.

having had the le labo Santal 33 before I was very excited to give this perfume a try and was not disappointed. initially it is significantly brighter and almost a bit citrusy when first sprayed but after a few minutes the deeper notes come out and it is indistinguishable from the original le labo perfume. 100% worth the price and will be buying again.side note- lots of reviews are saying that it smells like pickles and that must be a body chemistry thing bc it totally doesn't haha

I've never smelled the original, but took a chance on this based on the description. As soon as I sprayed it, I actually gasped because of how divine it is - I think this is the best perfume I've ever smelled. Obviously that's a personal preference, and again I can't speak to how it compares to the original, but I'm in love with the scent and am already contemplating buying the set of three of these because I don't ever want to be without. It's very long-lasting, too. Thank you, Dossier!

I didnt love this smell. I returned it because it didnt fit my kind of vibe. It could pass as a better smell for a house than a perfume. I like more floral and fruity smells. This was was rather harsh and intense. However I know it smells re acto y to Santal 33 as it is inspired by.

The scent is on par with the OG Le Labo, however the scent briefly lingers and eventually dissipates. If you are tight on your budget, its a great option, however next time, I will probably spring for the original as you do not need a lot and it last for years. I do appreciate the budget option though.

I was excited to get this perfume due to the reviews however, I feel as if its more masculine than feminine. It has a little bit of a minty scent to it as well. Nothing that I would purchase again or would recommend. Ill probs return it or give it to a friend who doesnt mind the scent. It does have an okay scent paired with the Versace crystal noir. It definitely should be paired with something sweet to off set the strong scent. Just my opinion
