I just received my bottle yesterday! Woody Sandalwood (dupe for Santal 33). It is soooooo very close. I love it!! So far long lasting :) I was however, skeptical because I bought a dupe from another brand for Baccarat Rouge 540 and it was NOT close. Now I can't wait to try their other dupes :):)

I would definitely give this a try. It is very similar to the lelabo santal. I'm glad I got 2 bottles. Where the one inspired by TF Oud wood was NOTHING like the original, this one is very close that I would guess most people would think it's the real deal. I have the santal and I use this one for everyday use and save the real deal for special occasions.

After getting this I went straight to the Le Labo shop in Brooklyn and sprayed my left hand with the original Santal 33. I went home and sprayed my right hand with the Dossier dupe.Ten minutes later I challenged 4 people to tell the difference and nobody could.My only wish is that Dossier would do more of Le Labo's scents.

Had every intention of loving this scent but its just to strong. It literally smells like wood to me. I thought it might mellow but after spraying and leaving overnight I had to wash it off asap. I LOVE Musky Oakmoss though- receive tons of compliments. Its the perfect organic scent in my mind/nose.

I'm sad. I wanted this to be amazing because the listed base notes I'm usually in love with... and because this is supposed to be the most amazing sandalwood scent. At first spray, this smells very sharp and sour to me. Extremely pungent in the worst way. It gave me an immediate headache. I had sprayed it on a hoody and left it for a while to settle.... away from me lol. I could still smell it across my living room. When it dried down, I was bummed when I didn't get that warm and inviting, cozy, woody and musky scent. The dry down is really plant-like, very green. Still pungent and sour. Off-putting. I wanted to love it. I kept re-visiting it, hoping I would adjust to it. Maybe it would change into something better on my skin, but I wouldn't be able to get past the first few hours. I'm not sure if I got a dud? Or maybe I'm just realizing that Cardamom and I don't have a healthy relationship? Lol. I'm not sure what it is in the notes that is making me so resistant, but I tried to love it.

For preface Im a fan of Ambery Saffron, Cherry, and Vanilla. This was recommended by the site. I feel like I smelled like a Christmas tree. I could SEE how some might like, but definitely not for me. Dossier was great during my exchange process. Waiting on my new order now :)

Personally I love to use this fragrance as a room spray. Specially after cooking and the smell of the food is all around the house this perfume gets rid of it instantly. This is such an interesting scent, I also love to spray it on my coats and bags.

I smelt on a woman and had to have it. Im still unsure if I love it on myself/chemistry and Im getting mixed feedback from friends but nothing real bad so still unsure if I should exchange or not. I am looking forward to trying Giorgio Armani, My Way as its on of my signature scents and something for my husband...hope that works better.

The top is virtually indistinguishable from the Le Labo but as it mellows it diverges from the deep woods of Santal and holds a tea party in a green meadow with white flowers. Thus it lacks the dark depth of Santal but the tea party is delicious if all too brief. Im going to layer it with Molecule #1 to give it a boost and some staying power.

Wow, Wow, Wow. I visited this hotel in New Orleans once and they used Santal 33 air fresheners, and immediately when I smelled this perfume/cologne, It smelled just like the hotel. I have had many compliments so far and know others who I have urged to buy this cologne.
