My best friend dislikes extremely strong or excessive smells, and we have both been trying to find a more affordable option for expensive brands of perfume that finish in the blink of an eye with how small they are. This was the perfect Christmas gift; he loved it. The packaging was nice, the shipping was fast, and the lid for the bottle was magnetic! making it impossible to lose. I too am considering purchasing something for myself here, there are so many choices :)

I was hopeful to try Dossier, and I'm glad I did. I feel like I've discovered a real treasure in Dossier. Aromatic Star Anise is fantastic. It's a high quality product that lasts and is enjoyable all day. Highly recommend. I'm excited to try more from Dossier.

Like most dupes on this website, the cologne smell fades pretty fast (2-4 hours). However, it does pretty smell nice, you just have to keep re-applying or spray a lot. Everybody hypes up Dior Savauge so i had to try this scent out and it was a solid universal choice

I bought this without ever smelling the actual Sauvage and I've got to say after getting the opportunity to smell the original this inspiration of the fragrance smells much better.... by miles. I've come to learn that about this place, all of these fragrances are inspirations of a particular fragrance and often smell better. Now when I smell something I like I'll come here looking for the dossier version.

My brother was hinting he wanted the original for Christmas when I saw the price tag I was um sorry can't do it. Then I read all the amazing reviews here and thought let me try it. Wow was I glad I did! The scent is amazing and lasts a very long time. My brother says girls come up to literally just smell him when he goes out...lol. Dossier you successfully hooked my brother.

I bought this one as I love Sauvage and wanted to get a good clone on the cheap. I do really like this scent but it is definitely a bit off from the original. I would still recommend it for what it is. A very good and inexpensive fragrance but you do need to overspray to get it to last.

"AROMATIC STAR" I could not tell the difference. When I tried it myself I became a believer. This is by no means a cheap imitation yet a well-crafted and balanced perfume that is very very close to "Dior's Sauvage" if you have tried it before. I would say 93% across the board with smell, long-lasting, and complements. The only drawback is it's about 50% less for a 1.7oz or buy 2 bottles for the same 50% less than one 3.4oz

This is a VERY attractive and mass-appealing masculine fragrance. It comes across as very fresh and spicy with some woody elements and perceivable sweetness from the lavender making this a pretty popular scent among the people who smell it on me. Maybe not a particularly UNIQUE fragrance but it's literally cloning Dior's Sauvage which is by no means a groundbreaking cologne BUT they did accomplish their goal of making a comparable cologne of better value. Aromatic Star Anise is definitely a viable substitute for Sauvage eau de toilette which makes it a success in my book. This is my second Dossier fragrance and I have yet to be disappointed.

I bought 3 perfumes to avail the 20% off. 2 for me and 1 for my husband. My husband and I love the smell of this and it stays long too. The other 2 that I purchased was not to my liking but I was able to have it exchanged with no hassle. I wanted to try different scents thats why I ordered those but I really like floral scents. I received the 2 exchanged perfumes today and I am very happy with it. I got Gourmand white flowers and Gourmand orange blossom now. I looove the smell and will definitely buy again soon! :)

Overall this fragrance smells good and it is pretty similar to the original Sauvage. However, I find ZERO reason to buy it or any of Dossiers fragrances again because they will last strong for maybe 30 minutes and then completely die. The longevity and performance of the perfumes are absolutely terrible. Yes, it is fraction of the price, however you need to spray more sprays for other people to even smell it and at that point, you might as well buy the real thing. I had high hopes but was ultimately disappointed. I bought three different perfumes and they all turned out the same.
