I just got this as a gift for my boyfriend. It smells exactly like I want him to smell, very intense at first with the pepper, and fades into a nutmeg/lavender/amberwood smell on the skin. It lasted on him for probably 7 hours which is great!!! However it did not come with a sample bottle.

This fragrance opens very bright and peppery but with some sharpness. The sharpness fades after a few minutes as the peppery spice notes really come forward in a clearer way and the citrus quiets down. The fresh citrus top notes do wear away completely much faster than I would like but the combination of warm and deep mid and base notes that are left lingering after are hard to beat and quite addictive. The fragrance is versatile enough for all year and every setting and environment while complex enough to not be boring if maybe a bit ubiquitous.Given how great this fragrance is its a shame the performance isnt stronger. Projection starts off initially maybe two meters but fades within the hour to one meter or so then down in another hour or so to a much more intimate skin scent. Once its gotten down to that point it does linger for quite a while. Ive had mornings that I wake to the base notes there to ever so subtly greet me from the night before and thats a nice way to wake up. During the day Ive reapplied at about the 4 hour mark if I want another burst of bright citrus and pepper or just want to be smelled beyond hugging range. However in the evenings I let the base notes linger for nights of Netflix and chill with the wife. I would say if your okay with reapplying the value with Aromatic Star Anise is great.One side note, when testing the fragrance and attempting for more performance more than 4 sprays would give me a headache. Id recommend reapplying instead of over spraying.

I bought this cologne for my husband and absolutely loved it. I have never smelled the Dior to compare it to but my bestie bought the real deal for her hubby but he wouldnt wear it. We were all out together one nice and she was positive it was Sauvauge and kept making it apparent how good he smelled and for him to stand next to her so she could bask in the ambience.

I'm not a cologne connoisseur by any means, but of all the cologne's I've had in the past, this has been my favorite! For me, its the perfect balance of being light and fresh while still masculine. You don't need to use too much for it to last long. Not to mention the price is unbeatable! LOVE this cologne, 10/10 would buy again.

Truthfully I just started getting into cologne about a year ago abs this by far has quickly become my go to sent. Not too over powering just right; however, you will have to apply it twice to keep the sent going other than that an amazing cologne to add to your collection.

I wasn't too impressed by this. It seems like something a 20-something would wear too much of. The scent it's based on doesn't impress me either so I think this is a fairly good copy. If you are a dude under 30 who wants to standout without challenging any stereotypes this might be for you.

This one is an okay scent. Its definitely a fresh, clean scent which I like. Compared to the other three I purchased, this one is my least liked one, but its still good. Definitely could wear this at an office job, or in professional settings. Nice and clean smell, almost like after a good shower. It is a soapy smell to it, which I do not mind because its la clean scent. If you want to smell fresh and clean, this is for you. 3.5/5

Bought this for my boyfriend cause Im too poor to get the actual Sauvage by Dior lol I have yet to compare them side by side, so I cant comment on accuracy. However what I CAN say is that if wears. All. Day. My boyfriend works early each morning so this afternoon I went to see him and instantly smelled it! It must have already been on for like 10 hours at least... so 10/10 for smell stay!!!

My wife purchased the name brand Sauvage for last Christmas and used it up. Decided to try Dossiers since Ive purchased other cologne from them previously. And I gotta say this one hits right on the money! Even my wife asked if I had gotten me a new bottle of Sauvage! I said Nope, this is Dossiers clone of Sauvage! She couldnt believe how much it smells like the original!! Definitely ordering it again!

My best friend dislikes extremely strong or excessive smells, and we have both been trying to find a more affordable option for expensive brands of perfume that finish in the blink of an eye with how small they are. This was the perfect Christmas gift; he loved it. The packaging was nice, the shipping was fast, and the lid for the bottle was magnetic! making it impossible to lose. I too am considering purchasing something for myself here, there are so many choices :)
