First I still have to say that I love Dossier. Just because I thought this scent was uber boring vanilla scent doesn't mean that Dossier isn't fabulous. I can't wait to try their new original genderless collection. I am just not impressed by YSL Black Opium but I find that sometimes Dossier perfumes are better than the original so I tried this one and it just wasn't for me so I exchanged for Fruity Almond which I just love. If you like YSL Black Opium you will probably like this, just was not for me, too boring. Sorry Dossier, still love you though. Also Floral Lavender which is Dossier dupe for YSL Libre is just lovely, much better than the original so there's that too.

I wasnt a big fan initially when I came across Black Opium at the store. It came off too strong on a scent card but I sprayed it on myself anyways to see how it dried down and it was entirely different on skin. I loved it so I decided to order it on here and surprisingly didnt have that opening that I didnt like. Its still long lasting and smells so similar, it was just something about the opening in the Black Opium that threw me off (ormaybe it was how it went the scent card, who knows!). Will definitely purchase again.

This scent is IDENTICAL to YSL Black Opium. I prefer the Dossier version every single time because of the price point and the lasting fragrance. I will never go back to purchasing the original designer brand. Dossier perfumes are unmatched when it comes to longevity and quality. I also love the new option to purchase 100 mL!!!

If youre deciding whether or not to purchase this dupe for Black Opium, please stop and get it! It is exactly the same as the fragrance it was inspired from but just better and for a way lower price! Trust me, you will receive a lot of compliments & the bottle/packaging and magnetic cap is just the cherry on top.

This smells exactly like the original. I even put it to the test, I sprayed this and the original on my wrists and asked my friend who owns it too which was which and she couldn't tell. She also thought the dossier version was stronger (a plus). It lasts all day on me. 10/10

I ordered 4 scents & this one was the best. I have no idea how it compares to the real scent since I dont buy outrageously priced perfumes. I do like it though, enough to keep it. I use about 3 sprays (wrist, chest & walk through after getting dressed) and it lasts all day.

When I tried Ambery Vanilla I really liked it but I found myself thinking that sweet smell reminded me of Floral Marshmallow (which I LOVE) and I thought that if I already have my decadent sweet smell, why not return this for something else? So I did. Mind you, Ive been on the hunt for my summer smell as Ive built up a collection of fall/winter scents so I want to be prepared for all seasons. One of the top notes of Ambery Vanilla is licorice which sounded too inviting to me but I couldnt detect it whatsoever. This is a fantastic perfume if youve never tried floral marshmallow OR prefer a less sweet smell over Floral Marshmallow.

At first when I smelled it, I did not enjoy it at all. I gave it a day and tried again, and I got more used to it. The problem is the smell lasts 30-60 minutes tops. It's really a lovely scent after about two minutes but that all goes away very quickly. I don't suggest using this as a dupe. It's worth your time and money and satisfaction to buy the name brand. It costs that much for a reason. I don't like to be wasting money when it comes to buying perfumes. I purchased two off this website and I do not think I will buy anymore. I was told it would come with samples to test beforehand but that was not the case. That's fine though. I morally don't believe I can return it because it can't be given to another person because of sanitary issues and the planet does not need more waste so I will keep it and I hope I find someone who will enjoy it more than me. Everyone has a different sense of smell. Mine might be weaker. Always try something first to see if you like it! The company on the other hand is wonderful and I wish them great success! Thanks :)

I'm usually not a vanilla person, but I saw a lot of really good reviews for this on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I really like the warm scent! The smell gives off a classy yet gentle vibe. I try to switch up my main fragrance twice a year and I'm excited to use this for the next few months.

Smells like the real deal probably about 90-95% in comparison. I finished the real deal and love them both. My only issue is these scents dont stay long at all. I dont know why but I feel like I could reapply 10x a day. So not sure if you get your $s worth in the end if you end up using more. :thinking:
