This scent was a little sweeter than I had hoped for, for me personally. But I think if I would have smelled it on another person I would have loved it! The scent itself is wonderful, just wasnt what I normally would choose. Id honestly suggest this scent to anyone who likes a sweeter vanilla scent! I purchased because it had great reviews and I wanted to see if it lived up to them.. and it really did.

Black Opium has been my go to for years but Im not a fan of the crazy price tag. Ambery Vanilla is spot on with the scent - coffee, vanilla, and amber. Only reason Im giving it a 4/5 is the staying power isnt quite as good as the OG. But maybe layering it with something else or just reapplying it might help but its a fantastic dupe!

I never smelled Black Opium before in my life. Just purchased this perfume bc of the reviews and how it was top seller. Ive never gotten so many compliments before. Everyone tells me I smell so good. Many people have also asked if Im wearing YSL Black Opium so this must smell identical!

Absolutely obsessed! Just ordered my FOURTH bottle! I'm a huge YSL perfume fan, and Black Opium has long been a favorite, but because of the price I tended to wear it on special occasions only. Now it's my go-to daily scent, and my coworkers even call it my signature! So excited to see larger bottle sizes available!

I bought the set and this was one of the fragrances I didnt want to try as the name sounded like itd be like a grandma perfume, but I was wrong I think this is my favorite out of the whole set! Scent is light and fresh. The scent lasted for the 5 hours before bed when I tried it. Didnt take forever to dry down very nice!

I prefer a more feminine scent (floral,fresh) and this one was a bit more heavy but I have it to my husband instead and it is DIVINE on him. I compared this to bacarrat rouge 540 and it definitely pulls more musky/masculine than the original. Highly recommend as gift for any men in your life!

Despite being fully aware of how floral this is supposed to be, I was still surprised by how sweetly floral it smelled on me? I'm still not completely sure I am in love, but combining this with Ambery Cedarwood kills that strange whiff of uber-sweet, bath & body works vibe I get from this fragrance. I get a lot of compliments on it when I wear it by itself, so I'm pleased by that. Overall, it's a great feminine scent. I recommend it if you enjoy sweetness in your perfume.

Doesnt smell very vanilla-y. More of a deeper, musky scent with a small hint of vanilla.After being sprayed, its very prominent, but the scent fades fast. I feel that this brand is not long lasting.I apply to my pulse points to try to make the perfume last, but Im unable to smell it after an hour. No one can tell Im wearing anything, which I guess is alright since I dont enjoy this scent as much.

I put one full spray very close on my wrist this morning to test Ambery Vanilla. I could smell it in the air for at least 4 hours pretty strongly and then it went to a closer, warm cafe/vanilla. I went out to shovel snow at 5pm and it became so strong again in the cold air! Its dinner time and its faint now but still on my skin. Very close to its inspiration fragrance and performed very well, love this one!

I bought this as "floriental vanilla" so there's a chance it's different now. The fragrance is too sweet and "deep" for me. It definitely lasts long and has a good smell, it's just not my style.I'll use it around my room in winter to bring more warmth to it, but wouldn't spray on myself.
