Icemaker quit working after only a couple of months. I was sent a new one (NOT same color as purchased) and that one did the exact same malfunction in only 2 months...better off to spend the extra and get the GE Opal over dealing with junk! such a waste of money.

It is intended that ice produced be periodically transferred to zipperlock bags for storage in a conventional freezer. To make firmer/larger/drier ice, use colder water.
