Compressor gave out after a few months

When I first got this, it worked great. Fast forward two months, the compressor no longer works. The machine was never laid flat for an extended period of time then plugged in.

Ice starts melting immediately

It's important to know that the holding bin for the ice is not a freezer so the ice begins to melt as soon as it dumps in the bin. You have to empty it immediately and put it in a freezer. It wasn't practical for us.

Poor customer service regarding a valid warranty

Poor customer service regarding warranty.....Purchased 11/2024, in Sept 2025 it started making loud grinding noise. I contacted Curtis International Industries and described what was going with the device, filled out all the proper paperwork  and sent the pictures requested. Curtis International  approved the claim advising their device was faulty. They required for final verification I had to ship the device back to them and they would issue me a refund. I received the refund for what I paid for the maker but I am also due the return of the $128.30 I had to pay to ship the faulty device back to the company but they have refused to reimburse me.  In the end it cost me an additional $128.30 just to get my money back that I paid for a faulty device. Poor customer service and in the end they got their device back and I got charged an additional $128.30 out of pocket expense.
