I have 2 other smaller Midea cube dehumidifiers that I've been extremely happy with, but this one is a lemon. The humidity reading is stuck at 30% rendering it useless. The humidity in my basement is currently 55% but this thing won't even turn on when I set it at 40% or 45%. It continuously measures the humidity at 30%. While trying to troubleshoot, I've read numerous reviews with the same problem. Shame on Midea for knowingly shipping faulty dehumidifiers. They've just lost a reliable customer.

★★☆☆☆ The dehumidifier itself works very well. Within the first day it removed a large amount of moisture from my home and made the house noticeably more comfortable. Unfortunately, the humidity sensor was defective right out of the box. The display was permanently stuck at 30% humidity while two independent hygrometers showed humidity levels in the mid-40s and higher. After researching the issue, I found many other owners reporting the same problem. I contacted Midea customer service and requested a replacement sensor. Instead of simply sending a low-cost replacement part for a brand-new registered unit, I was asked to provide multiple photos, videos, receipts, serial numbers, and extensive documentation. I eventually purchased and installed the replacement sensor myself, which immediately fixed the problem. The dehumidifier now reads within 1% of my standalone hygrometer. In summary, this is a very effective dehumidifier with a known humidity sensor issue and disappointing customer service. I can recommend the performance of the unit, but not the support experience.

It comes with a handle to help pick it up the unit is heavy so you'll need to be careful while picking it up and moving it around. If you live in a place that's humid and you have maybe a work shop/shed /tiny home this is perfect.

Humidistat malfunctioning as it constantly displays 30% for the current in-room humidity. Unable to use the "set" mode as a result. The product page also has incorrect information as one of the photos says this supports Apple Home which it does not. The product details also says it supports Matter smart home but it does not. Contacted Midea Support already and they just told me to return the defective unit to Sam's Club. They also confirmed this model doesn't support Apple Home or Matter and the product listing is incorrect. I guess I will just have to keep buying them until I get one that works properly which is frustrating. At least it does have a two year warranty but my last Cube gave up after 2.5 years.

This is the most quiet dehumidifier Ive ever used. But, just like other reviewers, mine - new out of the box - had faulty humidity sensor. Always says it's 30%, but humidity is MUCH higher according to all the other humidity sensors I have. Will return and order again (because it's so quiet) to see if I can get one that works… will review again after that.

I especially like the compact cube design and the built-in pump, which makes draining the water much easier. It runs quietly and is very convenient for everyday use.
