I'm not going to lie. I was a little weary reading some of the reviews. Make sure you read the reviews from verified purchases. I'm assuming that's from Sam's club members. Read all your documentation that comes with the dehumidifier and also the box that it comes in. I haven't had any issues and has worked very well for me.

This Cube has excellent scheduling through the App and long-distance with no connection breaks. I have it in a sealed foamed attic, and it sucked out the humidity with the temps as high as 95. I set this Cube to 40% and scheduled it to run at 3 different times during the day. It pumps a lot of water exceeded my expectations.

I’ve waited a year to write my review. Find this to be an excellent choice. Did lots of research. I’m amazed that almost every day during the summer it pulls more than 6 gallons of water from the air. Just does an awesome job. It’s not whisper quiet. So if noise level is a concern this may not be your first choice. But if you want a dehumidifier that does what it’s meat to do this should be at the top of your list. Love being able to control it through a simple app. Fantastic!

Works wonderfully to remove humidity from our basement

I have used this for 2 1/2 summer / fall months so far, and it is still working great. We currently have it in the continuous drain mode in our basement, but I also tested it in pump mode and bucket mode with excellent results. It did a great job in bucket mode to dry out our carpets after having them steam cleaned. The phone app shows how much water is in the bucket and estimates how many hours it will be until the bucket gets to your selected fill level. Also, the bucket has a very large maximum capacity compared to other dehumidifiers. My only negative comments are that the dehumidifier is heavy, which makes it a challenge to use in bucket mode since the dehumidifier sits on top of the square bucket and must be lifted off the bucket and set aside to empty the bucket. Also, given the large water capacity of the bucket, if you select maximum capacity for the dehumidifier to automatically shut off, the bucket with water is also heavy to pick up to empty. Regardless, I would definitely buy this model again. By the way, Walmart has a great price on the 4-year extended warranty, which I highly recommend.

If you can get one that's not defective, it's a great unit. Both our 10 year old Soleus units finally started giving out. Consumer Reports recommends this unit. As others report, lots of bad humidistat issues (if it says 30% out of the box, it's faulty). I needed two units… it took me 11 (yes 11) before I got two with humidistats that work. That's really shoddy, and probably should have been an all-out recall. When I contacted Midea for a replacement sensor they told me to just return it.

★★☆☆☆ The dehumidifier itself works very well. Within the first day it removed a large amount of moisture from my home and made the house noticeably more comfortable. Unfortunately, the humidity sensor was defective right out of the box. The display was permanently stuck at 30% humidity while two independent hygrometers showed humidity levels in the mid-40s and higher. After researching the issue, I found many other owners reporting the same problem. I contacted Midea customer service and requested a replacement sensor. Instead of simply sending a low-cost replacement part for a brand-new registered unit, I was asked to provide multiple photos, videos, receipts, serial numbers, and extensive documentation. I eventually purchased and installed the replacement sensor myself, which immediately fixed the problem. The dehumidifier now reads within 1% of my standalone hygrometer. In summary, this is a very effective dehumidifier with a known humidity sensor issue and disappointing customer service. I can recommend the performance of the unit, but not the support experience.

I just purchased it and it keeps giving me an error AP which isn't in the manual. And after it runs for several hours, it gets really loud and sounds like the motor is going to explode until you turn it off. I called customer service and they didn't have an answer so I am returning it to Sam's

Humidity sensor was broken, stuck at 30% out of box. Fan noise is loud.

I just hooked up my 4th unit….one every year. None have lasted more than a year and forget customer service. I liked the size but sure tired of annual purchasing. Price has gone up drastically but quality is still bad. I take very good care of them but it did not matter.
