I prefer these noodles to the Nishin brand mainly because they're considered "healthier" but I don't really know. I generally don't use the seasoning packet either and if I do, only about a quarter of it, if that. I usually use chili crisp oil or my own flavoring. Great noodles!

This is not for everyone. If you have trouble with mild sauce, please go elsewhere. If you like good taste with plenty of heat, this is a great option. Personally, I use it as a base and add veggies (carrots, peas, corn, etc.). mushrooms, bamboo and protein (chicken, shrimp, tofy). Makes a great lunch. My big downsides are calories (500 for one package) and sodium. As part of an overall diet with good variety with some exercise thrown in, it is a good occasional treat.

We really enjoy these noodles, especially the broth. However, be careful ordering these online. I did so and had to go to the store to return them all. For whatever reason, Walmart decided to have their local store deliver them directly, which would have been fine had they not totally messed up the order. I ordered four packs and all of them were the wrong flavor. Clearly the person putting the order together didn't pay any attention to flavors. In fact, I ordered four identical packs and got three of one flavor and one of another. I don't think I'll ever trust Walmart's online ordering for this again.

I like the texture of the noodles. These are not as spicy but I guess it would depend on what spicy is to each of us. My husband finds it really spicy while I didn't lol So the compromise is he puts in 50% less of the spice packet and I use all mine and the other 50% he doesn't use. The vegetable packet is a nice touch.

The noodles were perfect. Thick and chewy and not mushy. This is why I gave the product a higher rating. The flavor however was abysmal. Spicy with very little flavor, and somewhat bitter. Not a fan. I love spicy food but this isn't it. If I were to buy these again I would toss out the flavor packet and add my own seasonings.

I see the people talking about it to spicy. Simply don’t add the red spice pack or only add a little. Didn’t really get to enjoy these because the taste kind of taste like nothing if that makes sense. It’s just taste like spice. No beef flavor at all what so ever just taste like noddles with hot sauce mixed in and that don’t taste good. I love the samyang noodles because they are full of flavor even though their spicy. But this brand don’t think I’ll be getting again. Flavor pack has no flavor. I don’t even like hot sauce like that to eat a big bowl of noodles that has no taste but hot sauce. Don’t like them this my second pack of noodles and don’t think I’ll eat them anymore will find somebody to give the extra too

These noodles are so spicy I had to just eat the noodle but they were still the best noodles I had in a long time. I can't wait to do a stir-fry w/ them and thin the spice to season a whole pot of vegetables too. Real tasty and settled w/o heartburn which I usually have from almost everything.

I have been buying Shin Ramyun since 1990's from my local Asian markets to know that the Ramyun box I got from Sam's Club was kinda manhandled by looks of all those little noodle crumbs in the individual packages. Now, Sam's Club is selling one of my favorite comfort food at the fantastic price. Will buy again at Sam's.

This was suppose to be a gift. Does not come in container as shown, 'no surprise" right! We are getting use to this disappointment. The noodles are in their traditional packages inside a plastic Walmart mail bag like the clothes come, when you get it in the mail.

My husband loves these for making Asian noodle soups. I have had the vegetarian version of this brand, and it was wonderful. My husband remarks that this one is fairly spicy and has a deep, robust flavor. He likes it a lot, and you cannot beat the price!
