Basketball was great and my son used it nonstop. HOWEVER, after about a month of use I kept finding little orange pieces all over the house. I finally figured out the ball was “shedding” its foam! Once the shed started, it only got worse and the basketball had to go to the trash. My son was disappointed because it was a great basketball…until it wasn’t.

Great concept. It truly is silent and bounces well for a foam ball. My son loves playing with it. HOWEVER the quality is just not there. After about 3 weeks the foam completely broke down and it is shedding tiny foam bits whenever it's used. Now the integrity of the ball is lost.

Love that it’s quiet as my toddlers are just learning how to use a basketball and are using it mainly inside right now. I was a little sad by the bounce not being so prevalent when I tried using it myself. At least my kids will get the rhythm down and then we can switch to a leather ball when they’re a cpl yrs older and more coordinated.

"I have to say, in my mind a foam basketball could never bounce high enough for me (I am 6'4"") and just wouldn't be able to compare even slightly to a normal rubber basketball. Boy was I happy to be wrong. I gave this ball as a gift to my son who is 5 and wants to play basketball terribly. He loves it and is extremely happy

This is a great indoor basketball! While it’s not 100% silent, it is pretty darn close. It’s not annoying when your child is bouncing it, and it is soft and doesn’t hurt things. Your child can work on their dribbling skills inside even when it’s cold outside! This was a great value and purchase.

I ordered this ball for my son for his Dec 12th birthday so he began playing with it bouncing it around the 12th by Christmas Day the outer coating wore off of the ball and it is breaking down like a piece of foam does It does still function but most likley I will need to replace it soon because it eventually will have nothing left

The concept of this ball is great. It bounces quiet enough to not disturb anyone in the house. My son will stand and dribble this ball for a long time while watching tv. However, he got this ball for Christmas and within a week of bouncing inside (on laminate flooring) the foam started to come off in little pieces. It still bounces (although not as good) but it leaves a complete mess in the floor. We really like it but it should last longer.

I have to admit I was hesitant to purchase because we all know about kids playing ball in the house! This basketball caught the eye of my son so I thought we'd give it a try. It's pretty amazing. It's not completely silent, of course but silent enough for me. It has great bounce and is a good size. Makes a great gift!

This ball is a lifesaver! My son constantly dribbles in the house and it drives me crazy! I saw a kid playing with this in Wal-Mart and immediately added it to my cart as I was in line. It was a Christmas gift but since it has been opened, it has been a daily gift to my ears. I am truly happy with this purchase!

Works exactly has described. My two bball boys love it. It’s the size of a regular basketball. I purchased in store to avoid any deformity caused by shipping. It is spongy but bounces and passes just like a regular basketball. Though it is much quieter than a bball inside your house. It does give a slight thump when you dribble. But it’s not bad at all. I highly recommend this product and even went back to the store to buy a second one days later when my 2 boys wouldn’t stop competing for the one. One son never set his down and it did have more wear than the other - even though it’s not pretty anymore it still does the job. I was skeptical before purchasing but I’m so glad I did.
